Just Google "North Central Counterpoints" and on their website you will find a complete schedule for Mixed, Womens and Concert divisions. Looks like 41 groups total. Should be fun!

Most of the schools that attend this are in the conference.
Lawrence North
Warren Central
Ben Davis
Carmel
Center Grove
They all have show choirs and from what I was told, they ALL used to come to this competition. The only schools in the conference that don't have show choirs are Terre Haute North and Terre Haute South. I think more than anything it was to promote those conference schools to come to this competition. I know Edgewood has a Western Indiana Conference Show Choir Showcase in October that they do with their conference schools. So it is not uncommon to see it done. It probably started as a conference show choir event and expanded into the Midwest and now into other parts of the United States.
That's very true that the contest started as a music festival for the schools in the MIC athletic conference. Anyway, here's a list of schools(off the top of my head) I know who are attending
Lawrence Central-The Central Sound and The Sweet Sensations
Carmel-Ambassadors and Accents
Lawrence North-New Dimension and Hip Street
Zionsville-Royalaires and Choralaires
South Jones-Company
Mooresville-Spotlighters and Finesse
Ben Davis-Premiers and Soundsations
Franklin Central-FC Singers and High Voltage
I know they're more! I will have to check the list

Does anyone have a schedule?
