But the competition is now less than a week away and maybe I shouldn't do this, but I am assuming the directors have been sent a schedule. And someone has posted their performance time, so I think it exists...
How confusing. People in show choir should know better. That could've been any number of schools, like Lafayette Jefferson as well.
This is exactly why I always encourage everyone (directors especially) to list choir names along with school names when making schedules. Way too many schools out there with the same name.
I just saw Thomas Jefferson on the schedule and assumed it was Cedar Rapids Jefferson. Thanks for clarifying that for me.

If work gives me the whole day off i think i will be attending this.. a lot of good groups here... and i haven't seen Johnston or Ankeny in quite a few years!
I've even noticed some contests for this coming weekend (Jan. 15) that don't have schedules up yet! I'm usually surprised when schools don't use this site to promote their event - I mean, it's free after all...
Ha - and.... never mind - someone just posted a schedule for a contest this coming weekend up at Monona that Iwas curious about. So hey - Johnston has another week yet I guess...

Urbandale will for sure be there. I think I also heard that the following groups will be in attendance:

Waukee
Omaha Westside
Hastings
C.R. Jefferson
I know I'm forgetting some other well known/good groups. It's gonna be a good one this year. I hope the sound and lighting and everything turns out okay in the gymnasium.
I was told that every show choir in the dsm area is coming but one. so that would also include valley, roosevelt, and lincoln (unless 1 of those groups is the group not coming)
