I will not see Oak Mountain until Saturday, but I have seen Grenada. I probably will end up liking OM's show more than I liked Grenada's, but most score sheets that I know of do not have a place for that. Between OM and Grenada, OM will most likely have a better vocal score, and Grenada will most likely have a better visual score. The margins in those scores will determine which one of them is on top.
Just to throw in some hindsight from last year's competition. Looking back at the scoresheets, it's clear to me that vocals determined who made finals. Visual scores were fairly close to each other, but vocal scores were much further apart. It specifically ended up hurting the southern choirs last year. Of course this is a new year, with new judges, and a new lineup!
That's a tough say so early in the season but Oak Mountain had a great show was it better than grenadas? I'm not sure and haven't seen Decatur but maybe they take Oak mountains spot I would like to see some of them go head to head before nationals but I'm not sure if any of them cross paths it will be a battle for bottom spot for sure though
