Yeah, I can see how that would go......

..."Yes, show choir is everything to me. I would die if I didn't see show choir every weekend" said Jorge, a Davenport West Alumni. If you missed any of the action, mark your calenders for February 13th and 14th 2009 for the next competition.

Yep Yep! Because we all know, Davenport West and Central's "Great River" is being held on those dates (February 13-14, 2009)!!! Everyone should attend... we already are taking groups!

It will be really cool to perform on that stage again, even if it's just with the band.

I'm writing an article for the La Crosse Tribune's Show Choir website after this competition so y'all better be good....! :-p

I may go to this competition that week. We don't have one the week of LC Logan, so I may head up there permitting that my mother would be willing to take me or getting a ride. I really can't wait to see what this thing that West is doing is!

Also, any predictions on prep and womens divisions, we haven't seen many of these groups! Should be a fun and exciting day!

Looking at the lineup it doesn't look like there will be very many prep groups, but I'm banking on Davenport West Harmonics, we feel we've got a really good show this year. But that's really up to the judges isn't it?

Hey, I haven't seen everyone this year, but I know the Central girls have a pretty good show in place for the Logan Competition. Also, Holmen's girls always do a nice job. I don't know anything about Altoona, Bemidji, or Sauk, but it should be a great day for everyone.

Hey, anyone know anything different about this competition that most others? Is it ran the same, same staging off and on stage, costume changing booths, are there stairs on the edges of the top risers, etc. We haven't been here in years, so don't remember much.

We have steps there will also be a form in your directors packet where you specify for our stgae people any special needs that you need. I do know there is a copy of this form in the rules book that went out. We do have ez-ups tents for changing booths as well. Performers may enter the staging from either side.
