Greece Athena was extremely far from being a normal show choir and I dont think should even have been allowed to participate. Findlay was by far better nthan everyone else. No one hit their level of prefessionalism... and im not even a normal findlay fan... they deserved everything though, and im glad the judging went the way i had expected. FInlay totally was by far the best, even with such an old style of show that I usually discourage (andy haines groups). They deserved everything, go Finlday! (from an Attache fan)

Give it some time, chances are, they'll be on here sometime in the next few days.

What did people think of Edgewood? And what were the rankings for finals between each judge?

wow...that's a little shocking, though findlay is VERY good IMO...i'm a huge fan of fairfield's show lol...anyone know what greece athena's show was??

I heard from my CA sources they did 'Hide and Seek' techno style and some Phantom of the Opera stuff. Very unique apparently.

Congratulations to FFE! Fairfield had their BEST SHOW of the season. However, two judges had Fairfield ranked sixth in the finals. I believe it is a matter of taste among the panel of judges - traditional/Broadway vs. more "new age"or whatever term you want to use if you get my drift. Everyone have a safe trip home.

I feel a heated debate coming on.. (ala Showstoppers 05 MTZ vs. FFE.) lol

poor Fairfield. there show is amazing this year and so clean, but it seems many judging panels just aren't getting it. Findlay has a history of doing well in competition in New York, and maybe i'm just biased against tapping choirs, but i really don't see how they can win choreography captions over California groups and choirs like Fairfield.

EDIT - i forgot to add, i was told that one judge had Fairfield in sixth place. perhaps that could be the reason behind the third runner-up placement.

I got them!

1st Findlay (all captions)
2nd Greece Athena
3rd Hart
4th Fairfield
5th Bonita Vista
6th Edgewood

Can someone tell me what "all captions" refers to? I am assuming vocals, choreography, show and band. I work for the newspaper in Rochester, NY (Greece Athena) and want to pass these results along to an editor. But want to make sure which captions Findlay received.

Thanks!
