Twinsburg = pure joy! Something lacking in so many shows anymore.
It was just one brilliant idea after another! So much fun... I hope their score holds up what with all the vocal heavy hitters coming up - I so badly want to see that show again!
Twinsburg was AMAZING, I have been a fan since the Monopoly show and yet to be disappointed by their swagger . Even through a laptop screen, you could see the energy pouring off stage! Great Performance!
Also while I'm disappointed I never caught a tshirt from their performances, I shared in the Fairfield Crystal Classic topic in 2015 that I was front row and pelted by chips ahoy during their Cookie Monster number so really Dom I feel like we're connecting on a spiritual level about this.
Jeff, I think we definitely are connecting on a spiritual level about this.. because I was front row during their exhibition at SCA Tiffin 2015 and I caught a chocolate chip cookie ;) I'll see you at our Official GC Fan Club!
Ugh okay this is a total side note here but I just do have to say that as a show choir alumni nerd I literally am in love with everything having to do with Twinsburg. From their fun innovative quirky theme, their gigantic perfect hair, and classy, beautiful, gorgeous costumes, to their crazy perfect energetic dance breaks and choreography... Twinsburg is everything that is associated with good, fun, clean show choir and I am obsessed. I only wish that somehow they could clean up their overall sound JUST A LITTLE because if that was even slightly better (better than it already is) Twinsburg would honestly be pretty unstoppable in my (very humble) opinion. Even the slightest improvement would push them over the edge... they always seem to MURDER the choreography and show scores but lag behind in vocals. I really really want them to place high here but just the vocal caliber of groups that they're going up against makes it tough.
And as a side note... catching a Twinsburg shirt that was thrown into the crowd while I watched them perform at the Daniel Hand CT Classic was honestly a highlight of my show choir career and I honestly just 100% ship anything Twinsburg does at this point because they're my favorite midwestern group to watch. Sorry for this RANT but I had to express it
I so appreciate this, Dom. Maybe together we can start an official Twinsburg fan club. Inadvertently, although sometimes on purpose, I did end up at 4 of Twinsburg's performances this year. Though I didn't go to Connecticut or Illinois so definitely not superfan status, I try to take advantage of being near Twinsburg - because as you said they are just absolutely mesmerizing. I don't care much for scoresheets or placements at this point as I'm really just here for the music and entertainment aspect, but with that being said Twinsburg, and more specifically Lanoue, always deliver. I overwhelming respect the commitment Lanoue and his students have for their shows. They give it 200% and have such a fine level of detail encompassing set design, song selections, precision choreography, costuming (OMG the crowd gasping when they come out in their ballad baseball dresses is literally me every time). Their show choir style is probably the most detail-oriented I've ever seen. It really makes for not only an entertaining show, but a complete experience (seriously the hot dog eating contest at Northcoast had me LIVING). The Green show, Man vs. Machine, Christmas, Monopoly, Sesame Street, and now Baseball. Each one has been so enjoyable with an unbelievable amount of creativity. While I like many Ohio groups and will fight someone over my love for groups like Fairfield, I really admire Twinsburg as they are totally one-of-a-kind. Best of luck, GE! Y'all are a home run in my book.

It is hard to pick a top six with so many great groups! It definitely could go many different ways, and some quality groups will unfortunately not make finals. I will be watching the live feed!
