AND I thought your show was great, there was a lot of energy!! I loved it, I just wish it didnt take 4 1/2 hours to get there....ahhhh..... and I had only gotton 1/2 an hour of sleep the night before (or should I say that morning) But I still had energy on stage, and lots of it....hahaha, great job everyone.

which host were you? (btw i'm JD) ... hahahahaa... the men @ work part of it was fun... on thursday night after m@w practice (at about 9 pm) brendan jennings asked me to learn and perform the virtual insanity solo that brandon pearce usually does... and i was like "uhh... okay?" so i stayed up until 11:30 learning it that night and the first time i sang it with the other guys singing their parts....was onstage.. hahah! i had NO rehearsal for it... and towards the end, i forgot 1 line, but nobody could tell becuase as i got to that line... i just started dancing and groovin to the funk and nobody knew i forgot my words!!! haha! it rocked!!!

yea i had soo much fun yesterday! i loved hosting men @ work! i really didnt talk to that many of you... but i did talk to jd, what a nice guy! and dustyn haha that kid makes me laugh.
and i had great fun with katelin shenberger! going up to random guys and telling them that they are hott then butting into random peps convos.
ok i'm still tired.. so i'm gonna go back to bed.

Some things I really enjoyed:
-Oceanside's uh....caveman/woman thingy......hysterical!!!
-That cool flashlight choreography thingy, i think that was Eastlake
-POWERHOUSE!!!!
-This ONE girl in los alamitos sound trax was REALLY into it
-I had so much fun onstage it was insane!!!
-I liked Chula's girl's closer
-Matt Clear....he alone is THE reason the audience goes absolutely wild
-In Sync's guys' "sexual" moves....(are you allowed to do that onstage?)
-I didn't see bonita vista mixed, but i know i like the first 3 songs in the set...especially the first
-Diamond Bar.....you guys have so much energy that i'm exhausted just watching you perform
-Chula Vista!!! Omg, i LOVE how you guys manage to have a techno-a capella!!! And it works too!!! We're all dancing in our seats, it's fun! And the blanket thingy...first time i saw it!!! Awesome!!! YOu guys placed in my heart!
Anyways, i had SOOOO MUCH fun!!! it brought back memories of tenth grade when i was new to choir and i went to hart and competed with Decibelles!!! We had so much fun, we didn't care that we didn't place.....or did we?? Probably not...i dont really remember. All i know's i had fun, and i had a lot of fun last night!!!!!!!!
ok, Now there is this guy from Hart who is SUPER hot " border="0" alt="wub.gif" /> . He's in the top mixed choir and after the comtume change he wears the yellow button up shirt and he's SHORT like hmm...5'6 atleast, skinny. I saw him at DB and then i said hi to him today! I am so blown away that everyone liked our competition so much. I think I can speak for all the Hart kids in saying that we had a total blast. I was able to talk to some really sweet people and I just have to say that the girls that I talked to from Burroughs were SO NICE even though I was having some major bra/dress issues, haha. Even though you guys are winning EVERYTHING you still took time to tell us how much you liked our show. That really brightened my day! And of course the Chula kids were so nice...everybody was nice.
I'm exhausted but it was so worth it. I had a great weekend and I will always remember this as my last, and FAVORITE Encore!
What the int. choirs? They are in the competitions too... I don't think it's exactly fair that we only ever talk about the advanced choirs! So can someone PLEASE tell me who won in the int. competition thanks!

Well, considering we were ONE POINT away from second at DB and FIVE POINTS away from second at Hart (not to mention one point away from tying with BV for Show), I think if we work harder we can shine! I was surprised we won Music at DB, but completely thrilled because this is the first time Sound Sensations have won Musicianship in a long time.
Congrats on your victory! I'm so proud of PH and I love your set this year! People are going to get sick of you guys kicking major arse all the time! I know you went on late at DB and there were a lot of little problems in your set, but you pulled it together and ROCKED the Hart competition.
WOW!!! Last night was SOOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!! Powerhouse had a great time performing our set @ Hart!!!!! I had to much energy from eating Girl Scout cookies & oranges that I was ready by the time we got on stage!!!!! YAY! I was smiling like crazy up there. I felt like my arm was about to fall out of its socket as I was doing the beginning of "Here I Go/Dreams"...fun times.
Congrats to all the groups last night!!! In Sync, I was so happy to see you guys last night, you had a great show, and has been one of the best that I've seen in a couple of years...one of my favorites anyway. Thanks Joel for the "pep talk" before we went on. Good luck in Orlando! DB, again, your energy on stage amazes me everytime I watch you! I don't know how you do that! Celebration, I was so proud of you guys as well! I hope that one girl in your choir is doing better. We're with her all the way!!!

Jini Scoville was the third place winner for the solo competition from Burroughs. JBHS is so proud of her cause she hasnt been feeling well at all and was worried about howd she do. Great job Jini!
