All these people talking about how good Northeast is and I'm so proud to be a part of this show choir. I believe that the main reason we do so good is because we are a family. I know most show choirs say this but with us it's really true (Seriously I have like 4 cousins in the Mixed group alone) ha. I really feel like when something is wrong in our group, it effects all of us. I was so thankful for the show choirs being there when I lost my cousin in December. They prayed for me and I don't know where I would be without my show choir. To all my NEJ family:
I love you guys. Like Doc always says, we are a family. No matter what happens and no matter how much drama gets started, we are always there. Just know that whatever happens during this season, we gave it our all and it was awesome. At Picayune, we broke 3 traditions in one night:
1. Special Edition made it to finals for the first time.
2. Special Edition and Gold Horizons both went to finals at the same competition
3. (and the one I personally am happy of) GOLD HORIZONS WERE NAMED GRAND CHAMPIONS!!
Just remember that no matter what happens, I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
I just have a quick question...does anyone have the results from the middle school tonight? I may have overlooked the schedule, but you never know...thanks!
I normally don't post on here, I like to just see what people like to say about each others shows, BUT....Spain_Park_Parker -- You are not a Park Singer, nor have you ever been. I was in the group, and NOW I am one of their choreographers. I am asking nicely that you don't talk as if you were apart of our group, and please do not talk down about our program, as I see that nothing but progress has been made since our school opened 8 years ago. Thank you!
I can't wait to see everybody at Homewood it's gonna be a great competition i hope we do good we've improved alot and had two weeks and two weekends if i'm correct since south jones to fix stuff plus April James is coming to help us today and that will help tremendously Good luck at homewood everybody it's gonna be fun

I think the last spots in the finals could go to either South or West Jones, Auburn, and Spain Park, i just know that the other three are just in a defferent level than the rest of them
Its just that i saw my school at jazz fest this year and its so different, they have so much going on with alot of props and do different commercials for like ten minutes, its not show choir... its almost like we are just showing off how much money that we have... idk thats for what its worth
Since this is our next competition, I'll go ahead and make finals predictions:
GC: Clinton
1st RU: Enterprise
2nd RU: South Jones
3rd RU: Pascagoula
4th RU: ????
For the 5th spot I want to say that my own group will make Finals, but even though we have improved drastically, we still haven't beaten JA or NE Jones, and I'm sure they've both improved... Plus I haven't seen Spain Park... So that spot is definately a toss up...
i saw spain park perform at jazz fest and they were very good... plus they've had a weekend with no competition to help fix any problems that they had. i wouldn't be surprised to see them in finals.
Unless something has changed, the winner of A and AA will automatically be in finals and after that the next 3 highest-scoring groups, regardless of division.
