My predictions

GC-Huntington North
1RU-Findlay
2RU-Waubonsie Valley
3RU-Buffalo Grove
4RU-Carroll

Best Vocals-Hungtington North
Best Choreography-Findlay or Waubonsie Valley

I really like Waubonsie Valley but I'm just not sure if their vocal style and show design is really going to score well in Indiana, therefore I picked HN and Findlay over them. While I def. find WV refreshing and fun to watch, I'm just not sure if they have enough to beat both HN and Findlay.

Who the heck is Waubonsie Valley? Are they really good enough to score above Huntington North and Buffalo Grove? That's crazy...

They are from Aurora, Illinois. This is their 3rd year of existence. They just came off a win at Mt. Zion a few weekends ago. Their 2008 show is on YouTube so you can watch it.

I wouldn't count Findlay out of finals... but ya know I don't know anything seeing as I'm a Findlay fan ... must be the only one. haha anywho back to predictions.

i guess i'll go with you and put findlay in finals... lol I'm also really excited to see Huntington North joined this competition.

predictions:

GC: Waubonsie Valley
1RU: Huntington North
2RU: Findlay
3RU: Buffalo Grove

Best Vocals: Waubonsie Valley
Best Choreography: Waubonsie Valley
Best Band: Huntington North

Honestly, I don't know anything about the other choirs so i cant finish a finals prediction. What day is DeKalb?

1RU: Buffalo Grove
2RU: Huntington North
3RU: EEE/Findlay
4RU:Findlay
5RU:Columbia City

The top 5 spots, to be quite serious are definetely up for grabs and could be anyone!!! WV, BG, HN, EEE, and Findlay all are amazing groups that have AWESOME vocals and choreo...the finals are going to be off the hook!!!

Based on the official list posted above as of today, by Kent Johnson....it doesn't look like Eisenhower is attending this competition. We'll have to take them out of the predictions.

Huntington North "Varsity Singers" will make an appearance.

HN's website says they will be at Zionsville, has that changed?

Mixed Groups (NOT OFFICIAL)

Bellmont - Brave Generation
Bishop Dwenger - Summit Sound
Buffalo Grove - Expressions
Columbia City - City Heat
Eisenhower - Elite Energy
Findlay - First Edition
New Haven - Sound Edition
Waubonsie Valley - Sound Check
Churubusco - New Era
Carroll - Minstrel Magic

I think these might be all the mixed groups. Now am I missing any?

It's great how this competition has really been a battle between Illinois and Ohio the last few years, you usually don't see those groups going head-to-head that often. In the last three years, only one Indiana choir has made the top 4!

'05
1st - Teays Valley
2nd - Findlay
3rd - Buffalo Grove
4rth - Twinsburg

'06
1st - Buffalo grove
2nd - Eisenhower
3rd - Findlay
4rth - Twinsburg

'07
1st - Buffalo grove
2nd - Findlay
3rd - Wheeling
4rth - Northrop

That being said, I think I'll throw in my predictions based on what I've heard and past results:

GC - Waubonsie Valley (Vocals)
1ru - Buffalo Grove (choreo)
2ru - Findlay
3ru - Eisenhower
4ru - Carroll
5ru - New Haven/ columbia city/ 'busco

I was told only nine schools were attending, and if I'm not mistaken, most of them posted on this forum:

Bellmont - Brave Generation
Bishop Dwenger - Summit Sound
Buffalo Grove - Expressions
Columbia City - City Heat
Eisenhower - Elite Energy
Findlay - First Edition
New Haven - Sound Edition
Waubonsie Valley - Sound Check

I don't know who I'm missing... Let me know if any of these are wrong.

Busco will also be there.
