I can agree with both, as it is tiring to see just Cedar Rapids typed instead of CR (name). However in this case, I think since they were the only Cedar Rapids choir there, it's safe to say we all know they were talking about CR Kennedy.

I just have to say this, I've seen it too much in this thread. Cedar Rapids has MORE THAN ONE show choir.

In fact there are FIVE separate groups that have the words "Cedar Rapids" in front of their name (Well, five separate schools... 12 separate show choirs). The group at Nationals was Cedar Rapids Kennedy. Not just Cedar Rapids.

I guess it's my pet peeve or something.

haha I totally know what you mean. It's not just acknowledging that show choir that is important. I guess when people just say "Cedar Rapids" it makes them sound less knowledgable too. Think of people talking about the Lawrence show choirs and just saying Lawrence instead of Lawrence Central and Lawrence North. Also, some people don't realize that there are more than one Cedar Rapids when just one is at a competition and the competition is not close to iowa. So thank you for mentioning that!

Yes, but since Cedar Rapids Kennedy was the ONLY Cedar Rapids Show Choir at Nationals, I think it's safe to say that people understand what Cedar Rapids he was talking about...especially if he was in a hurry to type it. =)

Cedar Rapids you guys were amazing and I just wanted to say that you and Crete entertained me the most out of any choirs there that weekend. I really felt honored to be able to perform along with my fellow swingers and all of the other competing groups there. Also to Cedar Rapids the Swingers Unlimited sang "Fly Again" in 2005 and though a good song I got very tired of singing it and listening to it. But when I heard you sing it on Friday it was AMAZING!!!! It truly made me love that song again, congrats on making a song so beautiful and inspiring again to me Everyone was great and again it was an honor to compete with all of the amazing groups, good luck in years to come!!!!

DAMN IT!

Yeah, I have no idea who it was some chick with black hair. But I had a great time hanging out with all the groups at the competition.

Does iTunes take music off? I bought a remix of Carry On after Urbandale did it 2005, but it's not on there any more. That's so weird!

Our balid is a medley of Sailing On and Hushaby Moutain. I don't know where you can find Hushaby Moutain but I sound Sailing On by Nathan Martin on Wal Mart music dowloads.

Your balid? Hmmm.
