The previous livestreams have been Tri State Productions, I believe, and well with the current hostile environment towards individuals and companies who simply want to preserve art and allow families to watch their high school child's performance, Tri State hasn't been in the show choir game this year. Can't really blame them, especially with the tactics those folks use. It's a shame though as these are people's lives and careers and Tri State is truly top-notch.
Back to your original question, though, no I suppose I don't have a definitive answer. One would think if SCN was offering a live stream there would probably and understandably be a fee associated with it and they should probably be advertising that already. I'm not marketing professional though haha so perhaps SCN has found someone to live feed and are just building up anticipation.
Extremely unfortunate. Never thought I'd see the day that artistic expression in High Schools and High School students would be lost forever due to some guy trying to monetize the industry for his own personal gain.

ALSO just WAIT until y'all see Uniondale - in terms of performers and entertainment they are simply phenomenal/unbelievable. Their show is an experience that can lift anyone's mood and make your jaw drop.
Grand Island Senior High would be coming if we had the money! Our director got an email saying we qualified for Nationals due to how well we did at Millard West this year (we were only 5 points behind Omaha Westside ATSC)
Bummer. Though are you sure it wasn't for FAME Nationals in Chicago? What you're describing sounds more like a FAME thing than SCN.
Something I also think people are forgetting in their predictions is that while Burbank mixed might have beaten Loveland, the Loveland ladies actually beat the Burbank ladies last year at Fairfield by a couple placements!
