lol OHHHHHHH it makes sense now that they are all Peis. I was like "when did kennedy get asians... when did cedar rapids get asians? and WHAT? they can dance"

crazy. what is this world going to. chris. i think we need to pull some of our great river magic for Kennedy.

I concure, and I am sure so will everyone else!... that was with us.

According to the website, they're $12 all day. But the page says Copyright 2009, so I'm not sure if that was inflated for 2010 or not. I'll ask a Pei...They'll know.

I believe that is correct. $12.00 all day. That is quite a bit cheaper than a lot of places.

Want to re-predict now? Or no?

I want to say no. I think this is a much more slotted competition than Great River. However, I could see Momentum taking Central with an awesome GR-day round-type show, and I could see Muscatine beating Momentum if they have more of a finals show.

I'm going to predict that Adam Peters is going to take this one. I haven't seen his show in many months but I hear it's a good one!

wow this is so hard....

GC: Urbandale
1RU: Xavier
2RU: Central
3RU: Washington
4RU: Muscatine
5RU: Vitality

BV: Xavier
BC: Urbandale
BB: Urbandale

Central is the only group I have yet to see (I'll see them at Great River this weekend) so my predictions could change after this weekend.

I wasn't able to see Muscatine at either Waukee or Mount Pleasant, and I won't be able to see them during daytimes, so I really really really hope it works out so I can see them in finals... I've heard so many good things about them, especially the opener.

I still haven't seen Davenport Central this year (my cousin Ian has gotten best male soloist everywhere they've competed so far) and I will FINALLY be able to see them during the day round ... although I will then be rushing to get ready for our warm-up!

I think this could be one of the great competitions of the year.

For those who don't know, the Seward High Singers are from Seward, Nebraska. Last year, they carpooled, instead of taking a bus. Now that takes dedication.

I'm going to say I'm officially coming to this comp. just so I can't back out in the future.

You won't back out. Or else.
