There were talks a couple years ago about having one. There were a couple problems.
One being space. We don't have adequate space at our school for a competition. Sure the field house (new gym) would be plenty big, but there are only 2 entrances to it, and one of them is outside....we can't have groups and audiences going in the same door. The choir room and auditorium (obviously would be the warm-up room) is on the 2nd floor, making it hard to get from the warmup room to the performance area. Our other gym is just too small, and our auditorium only seats 800. It would be nice if we could have one, but I doubt it will ever happen.
Second problem is, like Cam said, there are so many competitions around the area...(Onalaska, Logan, Holmen, Grand River, Viterbo, Tomah used to...) it's hard to choose a good weekend, you can't go a week before or after, because then some groups that went to the other competitions have to come back to the EXACT same area.....it just doesn't work!

I actually just had this conversation with the activities director. He said that it would be quite a small competition and he actually showed me how it would basically be run and what not. it didn't seem to difficult. a BIG part of it is that there are so many competitions in this area, people would be tired of it and the same groups that always come.
parking is a big issue too!

I really don't know? Sure? That's not really our theme... or our colors... but... Logan is decorating our room, so, do whatever you feel compelled to do?

Their school colors are RED and WHITE.
But we would rather they be olive, dark green, light green, neon green, pea green, and lime green. :-p That's just me I guess.

can't wait to see this years shows. i havent seen some of these groups and i cant wait! i hope this year runs just as smooth as last year. i just wanna be done performing before 11:30 p.m.
