from what I've heard today, apparently both of our show choirs, the Monona Grove Silver Conection and Silver Dimension, are dropping out of this competition due to an "administrative decision." I was really looking foreword to this competition... best of luck to everyone!
seriously?? that sucks! I'm suppose to host silver connection.. whatever shall I do? and I was looking forward to seeing the shows. " border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />
I can't wait to come to this competition! It's nice to be on the spectator side for once, but I miss performing. I'm so excited to see everyone perform, and if you see me in the halls of Logan, make sure and say hi!

That certainly bites. Do you have any other info on why the two groups aren't going? Logan is such a great comp!

Oh my gosh! This really surprises me, if it does turn out to be the case. Have any directors let the Logan Organization know yet?

Best Vocals- Sauk Prairie
Best Choreography- Onalaska
Best Band- Onalaska
Well... I really could honestly see 1st RU-3rd RU being a variety of different variations. I just used my noggin and knowledge of previous competitions this season to base my results. I also think if New London, Altoona, or Brodhead really step it up... they all could make it. I think Milton is going to need to be spot on to make it in... they go pretty early. I hope that Onalaska's vocals have improved, otherwise, I could maybe see them placing lower.
Why Sauk over Mayville after Mayville just won over Sauk at New London you ask??? I have a feeling Sauk Prairie is ready to wage "War" and receive their "Glory" (referring to their song "War and Glory" in their show... you know you suck at small puns when you need to point them out) haha
can i just say right now...that i love you? haha.
no truly it will be an interesting competition. and adam will be there. OHH highlight of my day. pshhhhh.
can't wait to see milton! i've got you circled on my schedule..as well as reedsburg because i LOVE YOU KIDS!

Anyone from La Crosse and familiar with the summer GRFA show choir clinic for high schoolers, was John Clark the vocal director of that clinic? I participated for 2 years but it was ages ago.

Oh, and Adam, Rob Jones is one of the founders of the Grand River Singers; good guy, I've met him. Jerry Gleason is also from the La Crosse area, and I remember him being the band judge at a couple competitions when I was in high school.
OH! Cool, I think I saw him at Sauk Prairie. We sat around some people from the Grand River Singers, so one of them might have been him. Of course Mr. Adam Miller knew them, but I was clueless. haha
Nothern Lights might be going...I'm not sure yet though, it depends upon if our conert choir wants to go or not...so, maybe!
I don't recall Logan having a concert choir competition, unless that's new this year.
