So, as far as Crete.... FACES won Grand Champion with best vocals and best choreography for the women's division, but as for Cavaliers... they didn't even place finals. That is all I could get out of my source, so I'm sorry I don't have more to report.

I think I'm going to have to resort to calling people I know are there to actually get some info around here. If I Hear anything, I'll post it!

We don't even have the list of finalists yet though... I think/hope we can attribute it to nobody reporting it for us though... Oh well. (Because if THEY didn't know finalists by yet... I'd cry, for them, but I'm sure they do, noone has reported it yet for us.)

OK, it's 9:30... they can't possibly be that far behind.... Could they?? Man, that could really suck.

(sidenote - Obviously I have nothing but respect and admiration for the Crete Monee show choir program. Their effort on stage is above and beyond. Mt Zion is lucky to be one of their performance venues!! There was absolutely no malice intended. If you were here last year, Crete Monee had a number of incidents that needed medical attention and the Mt Zion nurse handled it all admirably.......I would have never in my wildest imagination thought that making a statement about making sure our nurses were gonna be ready this year, would have been taken so wrong. I am truly sorry and I promise to never make another tongue-in-cheek comment about Crete Monee ever again. I am just very glad you Wisconsinites are not getting testy about having colder weather than Illinois!!!! ) Certainly happy it is our senior year........(love ya, Ana!!)

Isn't Beavercreek at Garfield right now?

Who is travelling the farthest for Mt. Zion (both spectators and competitors)? Excited to see Sullivan, EEE, and Manteno

GOOD LUCK! Hopefully the weather will be good for driving. Supposed to be in the 20's tomorrow.....

Oh, Joshy...I love you and everything said about Manteno! Yay...I'm so excited to see my sister perform tomorrow...she's a senior this year and and hasn't been in show choir since her freshman year and finally decided to try out (with a little push from me) and I may say she's darn good! Look for her...she's the cute tall tan girl front and center in Magic's girls' song...so I'll be in the front row rooting for her and Manteno because they have a kick a$$ show this year! Good luck to all groups going...and I highly suggest to leave lunch early and go check out Manteno Magic! Yesss

Oh yeah, and since i spent my Freshman year at EEE and my brother and sister both graduated from there, and I still have several friends there, and since MTZ isn't competing... I will be routing for Elite Energy. I always love their show and the way they just "bring it". It is like the eye of the tiger or something!!

also, I really hope that Onalaska does well
and I must wish good luck to my friends in Sullivan
