im really suprised pascagoula beat south jones. i thought south jones was amazing. i loved their soloist in the ballad. great job tonight everyone! it was interesting to see how people changed aspects of their show since the last time i saw them at south jones.
I saw all of the AA groups, and I have to say, well done to everyone! I thought everyone did amazing! I didn't get to stay to hear awards, but from what I saw posted, I thought that everything was very well-deserved! Good luck to everyone, and I can't wait to hear results!
PS: I would also like to say congrats to Spain Park!!! I was absolutely amazed!!!! Your show left me with my mouth hanging wide open... All I could say was "Wow!" So, Congratulations!!
I just got home from SCC. I saw all the large choirs perform in pre-lims. I made finalists predictions and the jugdes chose the same ones. I can't wait to hear the final results. A few comments:
West Jones - Your show grows on me more everytime I see yall. I went shopping at the mall after I left the competition and I was singing your opener all over the place. LOL! Yall did a great job tonight, but yall were up against some fierce competition.
Auburn - I really enjoyed your show. Very much improved! Yall really pulled "Umbrella" off very well. When the announcers said yall were gonna do "Umbrella" in your show, I was just a tad bit affraid it might be a little on the cheesy side, but I was pleasently proved wrong. Again, yall were very entertaining. Yall should compete more often.
Spain Park - OMGsh!!! Where do I even begin. I could watch your show over and over again! Yall were definately the MOST entertaining group of the night. Yall shot for an original show concept and hit the bulls eye! Major kudos to yall!
Clinton - Yet again, they are like show choir Jesus. I'm kind of affraid to spill the beans on the new songs. They have some beautiful opening dresses. David Fehr sat behind me and my friends for one of the shows and we got to pet his little dog. LOL!
South Jones - Your show tonight was very well performed. This is the best show yall've had since 2005 (in my opinion). It was great seeing yall again!
Opelika - I love yall! Good job tonight! It looked like yall have done a lot of work since I saw yall last weekend at your place. Very entertaining show!
Enterprise - Very good show. Yall sure do have a lot of performers in your group.
