Also, this is not a complete list of judges, but Dr. Pete Eklund from the University of Nebraska.....Becky Bussiere, the director of Shepherd Hill, Mass. show choirs.....Heidi Glynias, the owner of The Dance Center of Rocky River, OH and former choreographer for show choir Camps Of America and the Cleveland Cavaliers NBA Dance Team......and Damon Brown, choreographer/show designer and founder of In Da House camps, are some of the judges.
Franklin Central High Voltage, Fc Singers, Flight, and Encores will now be attending this comp instead of Franklin Community. Our time slot is unknown as of right now.
The Carroll Classic will be held on March 20 and is located in Fort Wayne, IN. We would love to host you and your groups this year, and allow you to enjoy the many amenities here at Carroll.
The Carroll Classic is run with three divisions; Single-Gender , Small Mixed, and Large Mixed (you can determine which division your mixed choir competes in); as well as a concert choir competition and solo competition (performed in our small auditorium). You will enjoy performing on our large stage with ample room for large set pieces, costume changes, etc. As well as our professional sound system. Carroll is a large school and we have plenty of rooms to accommodate for any size groups, plus storing their staging equipment. Our esteemed panel of judges are carefully selected to guarantee diversity, experience, and integrity, and travel in from around the country!
At the Classic you will enjoy not only our performance venue, but also our wonderful director's and bus drivers lounge, vendor mart (complete with specialty coffee), great warm-up room, and a critique session immediately following your show! This is one competition you do not want to miss!
