I'm gonna put Gretna in as my last finalist, but Ralston and maybe that other Mississippi choir could make a run for it.

No matter what, this competition is gonna be great.

This is one of the best organized events I have ever been to. As a Bishop Heelan parent and supporter, this will be my sixth year at this event. They have a large number of groups performing and Tom Gerking and the Rebelaire are wonderful hosts. Good luck to everyone performing that day. I will be there in the cheering section.

I attended this competition last year during an off week in my competition schedule, and I must say that it was one of my favorites to watch. Tom Gerking and the Westwood Rebelaires run a fantastic day full of amazing show choirs in a great atmosphere.

Last years results:

Grand Champion: Lewis Central "Lewis Corp"
1st Runner Up: Mitchell "Friend De Coup"
2nd Runner Up: Gretna "Revolution"
3rd Runner Up: Sioux City Heelan "Harmpnia Mundi"
4th Runner Up: Sioux Falls Washington
5th Runner Up: Hinton "Soudwaves"
6th Runner Up: Spirit Lake "Okoboji Music Factory"
(7 finalists were taken because Hinton and Spirit Lake tied for the last finals spot durin prelims)

List of choirs attending so far (based on what has been posted):

From last year's competition, it looks like Lewis Central is back to defend it's crown and Sioux City Heelan will be attempting to make it higher than 3rd Runner Up.

In addition, the following choirs are attending:
Ralston
Waukee
and possibly the group from the South who's member created this topic.

I'm sure a schedule will be coming out soon.

We are suppose to be coming up to a competition in Sloan Iowa! 18 hours or more on a bus for us, coming from south Mississippi, just wondering... I am seeing posts about Onalaska and Virto but don't see anything for Westwood? Any help appreciated. Thanks
