I'm coming to see Grenada and Brandon! Their shows last year were A1. And I need not to mention the amazing Homewood, and Auburn! Will be a good competition. Can't wait to see all of these amazing groups go head to head.

I've noticed that she's been on the list of judges since at least 2015, possibly 2014. Is she typically the solo judge?

Lexi Robson, from Iowa, is the 4th judge. Winona Costello is a judge and not solo judge. Solo judge is Brittney Aven.

There is an updated schedule from what is posted on here now. I will try to upload.

I can't wait to compete here, and see some great groups. Two of which are attending Show Choir Nationals this year. Good luck to everyone.

In previous years, it has been at jacksonpreparts.com and probably will be this year, at least for finals. The Facebook page will likely give an official update in a week or two.

Predictions:
GC: Homewood "The Network" (BV)(OE)
1st RU: Auburn "Varsity Singers"
2nd RU: Grenada "Visions" (BC)
3rd RU: Brandon "Brio"
4th RU: West Jones "Imagination"

Tier II 1st Place: Oak Grove "Centerstage

Tier III 1st Place: Pisgah "Innergy"

I can see 2nd-4th RU switching around and I can also see Jackson Academy making finals. Also, don't forget West Jones girls group who made finals majority of the time last year!

I'm kind of surprised that Oak Grove moved down division and also Purvis.

I doubt highly that Auburn doesn't get best choreography here, but if that happens, it's more likely to be Homewood than Grenada. Could definitely see Auburn getting Overall Effect here as well. I got the chance to hear Homewood sing one of their songs back in August and they sounded phenomenal, so I think you're right on Best Vocals. Sure to be an exciting showdown between Homewood and Auburn to kick off the Southern circuit.

Predictions

GC: Auburn (BC, OE)
1RU: Homewood (BV)
2RU: Brandon
3RU: Grenada
4RU: West Jones

Can't wait to watch the live feed this weekend to kick off the southern show choir circuit!

This is sure to look different when I put them into my score system:

PREASEASON PREDICTIONS:

GC: Homewood (BV) (BC)
1RU: Auburn (OE)
2RU: West Jones
3RU: Grenada
4RU: Brandon

The little bit that I got to see of Homewood's choreography was cleaner than 2012 when they faced Clinton, and I saw them almost two weeks ago. Still would not surprise me if Auburn got BC, or if there was a tie.

*Completely Blind* Predictions:
GC: Auburn (vocals)
1RU: Grenada (visuals)
2RU: Homewood
3RU: Brandon (overall effect)
4RU: Enterprise

I'm curious to see how a few groups do this year (several division and/or director changes).

Considering making the drive for the evening. What time do finals start?

I did notice that there are some new directors - Oak Grove in particular stood out to me. They typically do really well, so I would definitely keep an eye out for them making finals.

Finals should start around 9PM, but this is a Southern competition, so it will probably be later than that. 8:35PM is when Prelims awards are scheduled, so I would aim for that time slot should you make the drive for finals (which is a great idea).

Sadly we couldn't attend due to inclement weather. Thanks for the prediction though.
