Well do we compete against the A schools? At Omaha they had a Prep division and I dk what the higher one was called but the prep one was for big schools that had a top choir and a bottom choir. I am just curious to know if we compete vs. the A schools. Thanks!

We are AA

It depends on how many people are in your school

If it's like most competitions, the AA division is for the bigger schools while the A division is for smaller schools.

On the scedule there is an A division and a AA division. What is the difference. Do they compete against each other? Also, I'm very excited for Hastings. From what I heard it is a blast and I am really looking forward to it!

This is Mitchell's first time at Hastings, and it's our next competition. It has only been like 3 days since Omahas at FDC are getting excited. I also have heard that on top of the sweet bridge, they have some sort of computerized practice rooms?? That could be interesting...

yeh, we do, you can manipulate the acoustics in them electronically to sound like several different locations such as a small concert hall, a cathedral, etc...but they will probably be locked for the competition : ) one of them is broken anyways..

This will be my first time at this competition since I have been in show choir and I am pumped to go and perform there. I have heard great stories from my upper-classmen, and I can't wait to go. It will be an absolute blast.

well... the bridge is pretty cool, but if you have never seen it and you start to get your hopes up to much about it. than it will just let you down. so its cool and everything, but not extremely mind numbing.

OBVIOUSLY, you don't realize what mind-opening revelations this bridge has brought to on-lookers.

One need only read past "Swingin' on the River" threads to comprehend the wonders this bride can provide to non-Hastingsians. " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

I miss this competition. I am going to try to take that weekend off of college just to make another pilgrammage to see the bridge.

Oh come on Adam, the bridge makes HHS, HHS. and you know it With out it we'd be just another high school.

And actually there is a scene to go along with the bridge. The carpet is blue in the middle and tan on the outside to represent water and sand. The library window area is supposed to be a barge, and the tables when set up are supposed to be rocks I think... at least that's what i heard.
