So, I'm off to my second Kennedy "Raise The Roof" competition. My first was WAY back in 2005 as a spectator... the first one they held. I ditched my date to the girl ask guy dance at my high school to go to it. Although I'm not in the same boat this year... the excitement is just the same! I haven't been THIS excited for a competition YET this year! Good luck to all groups!

I'm VERY excited for tomorrow! My arranger, best friend, other friends and my parents, who have never seen my show choirs, are coming as well as a few other family members. It helps my cousin Ian's performing too ... more of a draw.

Good luck to everyone!!!

Best of luck to all groups tomorrow! I'll be there bright and early for middle schools after walking the block from my house to the school. No parking issues for me

HAHAHAHAHAHHAA I love this, because it's all so true. It's totally something I would do... spread a rumor, and then actually do it!!! hahahaha.

although the whole new group and band... that's gonna be a bit more difficult. I probably won't have 4,000 people in my school like Carmel, North Central, etc. so finding the people might be hard.

wait... i just figured it out. I'm going to bring my prep group to the first competition as our varsity, and then for finals I will have my varsity perform. New people, new band, new show, new costumes. HA! I solved the problem!

good luck guessing my shows in the future, gentlemen... haha. oh god this cracks me up.

Perhaps we need to set the stakes a little higher then?

Perhaps showing up with a new choir, band, and crew all from the same school?

I like the idea of having Jay start a rumor, but you know that one week the group will show up with a brand new show, set, choreography, and costumes.

I was just going to say... this is something Jay would do. Have a show all lined up.

Jay, I command that when you have your own show choir, every competition you take them to you spread a rumor on here that it's going to be a new show, with new sets, songs, and choreography!

I wouldn't be spreading a rumor about my own group. lol

when I have a group, I'm gonna spread so many rumors on SCC hahahahaha. some people are so gullible on here.

lol there were rumors floating around Great River that Wash was going to perform a new song, and then there was a rumor that Waconia had a whole new half of their show, so this better not be a rumor Adam! haha

I hope everyone will try to catch Muscatine "River City Rhythm" for the premiere of an entirely new song!
