Okay-- so Eau Claire had had 2 (yes, 2) snow days in a row this week. So I'm at home again when OASC is supposed to be at a tune-up with Jeni Donahue....LAME.

we never get snow days . ever.

Bring the strobes. And the music. The CD's I'm making are basically gifts for AFTER the comp. (for your itunes or w/e)

IRONICALLY--I Believe In A Thing Called Love Is On The CD. It's also our prep group's opener!

woo. I am super pumped for this competition..: )

I actually hope there isnt discrepency(spl?) about the music in the hastings room cause we always have a dance partay before we perform and there are certain songs we listen to before (i.e. Shout. I believe in a thing called love. Solja Booiii.) and songs afterward(its gettin hot in heeeerrr) so we will see how that all goes down. BTW. We bring strobes to our competitions i think. so if you guys are bringin those, i can tell our peeps that we can leave ours at home.

It's so sad! I love Heath Ledger!
I'm crying...he was filming a movie...that may never come out!

I read that Johnny Depp was interested in finishing the movie. According to the movie's producers, there's a part where Heath Ledger's character falls through a magic mirror, so he could just turn into Johnny Depp after that...

Anyway, back on topic.

I'll be hosting Totino-Grace Encore and looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday -- I wasn't *too* disappointed to find out I wasn't hosting the Testoster-Tones after all ;)

Not to add to confusion, but our prep group is taking the men's place- the Testostertones will be apearing at competitions in March.

And they are freshmen through seniors.

Are they freshman?

Actually its (i'm pretty sure) sophomore through senior guys We have members from Encore (our JV mixed) and Company in it. I was SUPER excited when I found out we were gonna have a guys show choir this year. If I was a guy, I would totally be in it, lol. But I'll most likely be there to cheer the guys on, and I'd love to chat with whoever else might be there

And Hastings will be there! Yay! I really want to see you again b/c Company never sees you again

Well----

I'm excited because the choirs up in our area are so familiar with one another. It's like we get to see each other grow and stuff. It's cool seeing people from East Side Swingers in RIG now and seeing how they are older and have matured. It's a lot of fun to be able to recognize people that you remember from your freshman year. And Winterfest is the first competition where we get OASC, Jefferson, Kennedy, Hastings and Totino groups all together in one place. THAT'S WHY I'M EXCITED.

P.S. Ironic thing: I have a forensics competition the day of Winterfest at UW-Eau Claire. So I won't be there until around 2:30ish. Yet what is the topic for my demonstration speech. Yep--show choir.

So I might be bringing a trophy of my own to Winterfest! (Hopefully)
