GC: CR Washington Momentum (BV)
1RU: Hastings Riverside Company (BC, BB)

3RU: Millard North Infinity
4RU: Elkhorn Excel
5RU: GINW 14 Karat Gold
I've heard nothing but great things about CR Washington this year and I honestly think they could come out with the win. They have to have killer vocals considering they beat out Ankeny Centennial who is known for their vocals, plus their overall score was super close to them at the end of finals. Either way, we are super excited to host COE once again and can't wait to see all the amazing groups on January 30th!

I think everyone is counting CR Washington out, a group who already has a GC over CR Jeff and Mt. Zion and took best vocals from Ankeney Centenial and only losing by .5 of a point in finals.
No prediction because of course I would be biased, but I have a couple of comments! I'm really excited to see how Infinity/Excel/Blackout stack up against each other. Infinity took Grand Champion at our first competition, Excel is apparently even better than last year (and last year was INCREDIBLE) and got 1st Runner Up, and Blackout held their own against some very good groups at Ankeny, taking home 3rd Runner Up I believe. So it'll be really interesting to see how we're ranked with different judges (especially Elkhorn and Millard North, as I'm sure Gretna was pretty close). Grand Island Northwest was also extraordinarily clean, though I only saw them in passing and can't speak for vocals. Once again I'm pumped to see Hastings, as they did break someone's (Waukee, maybe? I can't remember) Best Vocals streak on Saturday and are literally always amazing. Also, I've never seen Cedar Rapids Washington, but they did get a grand champ last week so I'm definitely pumped to see them Also, Infinity, CR Washington, and Hastings all going in with a Grand Champ (and most likely Blackout after Midwest Cup) is going to be CRAZY.
Good luck to everyone in the next two weeks before COE! I can't wait to see all of you have fun and stay healthy in this terrible weather!
