psh man i got stuck running for the judges 2 years straight. first time it was security and then runner for judge. the year after i was stuck running for judge again i think and then security for the jazz bands. i remember they gave me a lot of crap those band people... grr...
lets see... that last day i had a headache, was sleepy, tired, pissed off, hungry and oh yea bored out of my freakin mind... hell im bringing my DS along this time...
hopefully if we do host i wont get stuck doing those jobs again... then again looking at what we got its most likely im doing security again...
Dang that really sucks, I would at least complain to your director and tell he/she that you dont want to be a runner for security or the judges but be a host for Redlands East Valley " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
I'm pretty sure that he/she will let you change from being a runner to a host, lol.

Hmm actually that is a good question... last year we had to host it because Esprit had little people... but looking at this year too, uhh i think we have to host it again... o well...

Wow its so far away and yet you guys are talking about it. Anyways its on May 18th and we have our annual Playday carnival at the park so after that you can enjoy yourselves with games, rides and food. See you there
It is the competition that Mark Keppel hosts.
Golden Valley is going and I believe Eisenhower is too.
It is usually held at the Barnes Park Bowl in Monterey Park.
It is a nice competition, I like it. they usually have a carnival going on at the park on the day of the festival, and the performance area is an outdoor ampitheater, it is a little different which is nice.
It is usually a novice only festival but last year they had novice and intermediate divisions.
