thanks for puttin us up there!! Like I said, this is gonna be VERY competetive for the top five. I know Esprit will be missing a few people this weekend, so that will be to every one else's advantage. But we've really improved a lot. I hope we can prove that to you all Tomorrow!!! GoOd LuCk!!!!

Bawhaha...you're my hero Bryan! You and Bobo. Colerain really is a great group of talented kids, just one person gives them a bad name on here. Maybe it's two people...I forget.

But my cookie offer* is still up for anyone who wants to meet me. I'm still planning on being there for prelims! One more day...woo who!

*Offer valid March 20, 2004 only. Offer is non-transferable and cannot be combined with any other offer. Valid only in the 48 contiguous states. Cash value 1/20th of a cent. See store for details.

Carrolls show choir has always had 40-50 some members in it but 3 years ago our director wanted to change it and we moved to 24....its worked out really well for us so thats why there are only 24 people....you really get to know the people in your group alot better too...whether that is a bad thing or a good thing...haha

I was once a talentless show choir boy at one point too...yes, yes, I know; it's hard to believe, but it's true folks.

Hahaha!

I don't recall saying less talented guys should be cut, in fact, if anything, that post was anti-cutting, if you know what i mean. In no way do I believe show choir should be limited to talented upperclassmen. I think you guys inferred A LOT into that post.

I wish Center Grove was going to North Central instead...they would EASILY beat Clinton... " border="0" alt="ermm.gif" /> .

im from cg and thanx for the nice remark. we would love to compete with clinton but we had already said we were going to tc- so it wouldn't be very professional of us to just drop tc for north central.. so maybe next year. but we are coming to compete , we dont take any thing easily, and you can bet that sound system and debs are going with their A game. i look foward to seeing some of the people from carrol because i hosted them at best of the midwest, so c u guys soon....-tim-

It really confuses me why in a school of 2500 kids, there are 24 in their varsity show choir.  Who knows, I'm sure their director has a very good reason.

Carroll only has around 1200-1300 students. The 24 performers just boils down to...guys, for some reason, guys just aren't trying out for Show Choir with all the other things they have to offer. They have a JV group, and some of the guys there will most likely move up next year but I think she is keeping the number down mostly because Carroll is known for small groups with great vocals. They have had larger groups in the past, just not in recent memory.

Unfortunately, I understand the thing about the guys all too well. I mean, I can't imagine what would happen if our director cut all the guys who shouldn't be in show choir.

Cut all the guys who dont belong in show choir? Any guy who loves to perform deserves to be in show choir despite lack of talent. Since Colerain doesnt have any true middle school choirs or a prep choir, I was definatly one of the kids who you are refering to my freshmen year "not deserving to be in show choir". However I love to sing and perform, and my director gave me a chance, and now Im one of the leaders in my group. I mean i know you arent starting crap but it was a little sad to see you post something like that considering i used to be a talentless show choir boy!

Its ok, lets not talk about past competitions, those dont matter! What matters is that everyone does their best on saturday, so everything can be fair as possible! That, or i'll just pull a tonya harding on some choirs and we'll see how good they do then...watch your back center grove....woops, did i say that out loud hahaha

p.s.-KIDDING!!

They got second at norwell (GC was Huntington and 3rd was Homestead), and won Huntington (beating Ben Davis). I honestly have never been too impressed by thier shows, but that's just me. It really confuses me why in a school of 1500 kids, there are 24 in their varsity show choir. Who knows, I'm sure their director has a very good reason.

I think it's really funny how none of you Esprit people wanna talk about to 40 point spread between us at Belmont (and there were 3 judges).
