The incredible amount of support we have received from the show choir community in the last few days means a lot to everyone involved with DeKalb's choirs. Our choirs always look forward to Franklin Central, and even though we will not be competing Saturday, we want to wish all performing groups the best of luck!
It was announced that DeKalb Show Choir will not be competing this weekend due to Tabby's death. The newscast said that they will instead be performing at her funeral. Prayers for DeKalb!
Again, Bishop Dwenger is honored to be placed in the night show predictions! There are some outstanding choirs in this competition! Our hearts and prayers go out to the DeKalb show choir family concerning the death of one of their members. We will keep you all in prayer. Hugs from the Dwenger show choir family.

I just edited this regarding the tragic loss of one of DeKalb's own. I hear they will be preforming at their members funeral instead of attending FC, my heart goes out to the DeKalb community. Regarding the competition; very best of luck to all the fabulous groups in attendance!!
The event has been updated both on Day One and here on Day Two! Quick question, are the two festival show choirs competing and being awarded with placements or are they exhibition performances? Sometimes festival and exhibition are synonymous so I just wanted to clarify that before I add those two groups above. Furthermore, if those two groups are competing... Ben Davis "Preview" is their 9th grade group, is Warren Central "Expressions" their 9th grade group as well?
I can't give you a definite answer, but my guess would be that, in this case, festival is it's own division and both WC and BD are 9th grade groups and will be competing against each other.
