Here are the 6 that I think will move on to finals!

I'm giving SE POLK (RAMification) the benefit of the doubt that they will be able to pull finals at this invitational or else I think it will be Express. It's hard for me to be 100% confident in my predictions because I haven't ever been to this competition personally and I haven't seen or heard most of these groups. But after research this is the best I could do!
my school has never competed here before. are the rules the same as a normal competition? as in, 6 varsity show choir get into finals? or are they any different?
I just looked them up and saw they finished 5th at Linn-Mar so I'll believe you since you know a lot more than I do.

At Linn Mar Happiness swept the competetion with Johnston in 5th but yesterday at Urbandale Johnston beat Kennedy!
I haven't seen any of those groups, so I couldn't tell you based on the shows, but SW's prep group has a REALLY REALLY advantageous time slot. So I would guess it would be them if they have a good enough show. Johnston's prep is always super good, but they have the worst time slot of the 3 being mentioned.
I'm thinking the two prep groups might have gotten good time slots based on them being in finals last year, but once again, still a strange schedule. And yeah, Johnston prep could be better, I just don't know anything about them.
Actually, I would put Johnston's prep in over LSW's prep even. So, yeah. Saying Illumination will make finals here is an extremely bold statement.

Johnston will easily finish top 3 here. Their prep group has a pretty chance at making finals, too.

I really like competitions that have their prep group go before finals announcements and then their open group before end awards, that way you don't have strange filler pieces that sometimes can get a little awkward.
This is kind of a smaller more localized competition so it's a little hard to judge where some groups might end up, I'll take a shot in the dark.
