Burbank, Burroughs, and Los Al will all be at Hart. Actually, this is the only time all three will compete against each other all year. Burbank will not be at Burroughs' comp (they'll be in Canada), and Los Al won't be at SoCal (presuming they're going to FAME nationals - it's the same weekend). Obviously Los Al doesn't compete at their own competition, and I know Burroughs is not going to Arcadia (not sure about the other two).
Yeah!!! :D At least I can be at the one that they will all be there! Oh yeah, well at least Burroughs will be there most likely since I read on here that they said they'd turn down the trip to Fame Nationals if they are top three I think to go to SoCal. Oh, I'm not sure if any of the other groups would go. I just hope Marquis goes to Hart too... I highly doubt it though, usually it's pretty inconvenient for Marquis since it's all the way up there and the last two times were on SAT days and people well need to take the SATs.

It doesn't seem like John Burroughs and Burbank are going to a lot of local competitions. >_< Probably will go to Hart Encore, Los Alamitos Xtravaganza, SoCal, and maybe Arcadia Big Pow Wow? 39 choirs have registered for the 27th Annual Burroughs Music Showcase, presented by the Vocal Music Association of John Burroughs High School, Burbank, CA. High School choirs will compete in five show choir divisions – advanced mixed, advanced women’s, men’s, intermediate mixed and intermediate women’s, as well as a concert choir division. New for this year is the addition of a division for middle school show choirs.
Adjudicators will include Broadway veteran Danny Gurwin, American opera director Thor Steingraber, arranger, musical director and clinician Eric Van Cleave and "Director Emeritus" of the John Burroughs HS VMA, Mary Rago.
