Did you also happen to catch ATSC? How'd they do?

I didn't. I performed right before they went on.

I was at that competition marking the first time I had seen these two groups and it was a battle!

I think the fact that these two groups have competed so recently and placed in the top two slots will make this one even more a "battle". I think that ATSC will want to "avenge" the loss at Lewis Central and Friend de Coup will want to cement the fact that they were supposed to win as a program.

I did some research and they met at Lewis Central in 2010 with mitchell taking home the GC and BC. ATSC took home BV and 1RU

We competed with them at Onalaska 07. I want to say Heelan in 08 (could be wrong). And like mentioned above for sure in 2010. I don't know that they have competed together in the last year or so. But it will be interesting none the less

You only need to pay for admission once, with the prices being $7-adults, and $5-students all day.

Also, the wonderful judges for the competition are:
Dina Else
Joel Johnston
Andrew Last
Melanie Walters
Alisa Belflower
Katherine M. Huerta-Simpson

how are judges judging?
are certain judges judging certain categories like a judge who specifically judges vocals and then one for choreography?

I'm going to beat the dead horse and say: yep... I'm excited to watch ATSC and Mitchell duke it out. Ever since about 2007 or 2008 Mitchell and ATSC have always placed VERY similarly in competitions... This competition will be no different. Good luck to all groups performing. I'm excited to see show choir for the first time this season!! Aggghh! Oh and one last thing for all those FDC kids out there who read this: I'm excited to see your show, I've heard wonderful things.
