Unfortunately, due to flu season, a whole bunch of our group members have come down with illness. To protect us and those around us, we have opted to drop from Brownsburg.
Tier I mixed and single-gender finals will be in the gym and tier II mixed and single-gender finals will be in the auditorium. Sorry, I don’t have the finals start times off the top of my head.
Predictions

4RU: Lafayette Jefferson "First Edition"
Single-Gender
GC: Fishers "Sound" BV
1RU: Carmel "Accents" BC
2RU: Center Grove "Debtones"
3RU: Franklin Central "High Voltage"
Good predictions but Lafayette Jefferson's show this year is amazing and I don’t expect anything lower than 3rd from them. I’ve seen their show multiple times in person and they have some serious vocal power!
You can be absolutely amazing and get lower than 3rd. See Burbank 2013 @Los Al. This is pretty much the Indiana equivalent of that contest with Carmel, Center Grove, and Franklin Central all competing.
Is this the comp of the year in Indiana? It seems like all the top contenders in both mixed and Single-Gender are at the height of their powers right now. Could you imagine if Zionsville would've been able to come?
We are super excited to be hosting all of these incredible choirs this weekend! For anyone wanting to attend the event, you can purchase tickets in advance by clicking here https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2022-brownsburg-bulldog-spectacular-tickets-275040422307. Our livestream is also going to be broadcast for free in both the large & festival show choir divisions all day and night
The Carmel/Center Grove rematch here will be interesting, both in large division and single-gender division. In those two divisions at Franklin Central, Carmel won with choreography and Center Grove got 2nd with vocals, just showing how incredibly close they must have been.
They really were, but they're using Carmen scoring at this event, so I don't think that vocals will be weighted. Carmel may take the win again. However, I'd love to see Carmel's "Accents" lose their winning streak to Fishers' "Sound" girls. They're INCREDIBLE this year! It may be tough for them to contend with Carmel and Center Grove though...
