So I'm thinking Des Moines Lincoln or Johnston Prep will make it in the 5RU spot.
I got to see Des Moines Lincoln at Muscatine, and I was surprised at how solid they were. They haven't competed too well for awhile, but I thought they sang pretty well, and their show theme is interesting. I haven't seen any of the other group competing there, so I can't fully predict how they will do, but they can definitely compete for finals.
Ethan I agree with your predicts though I think the last spot will go to ankenys prep group they are much improved from last year and did take first at johnston though don't know how synergy compared cause they performed on friday at johnston but other than that I would agree looking forward to this comp hard to believe thayt the season is half over already
Honestly the top spot, I believe, will be very close. Johnston, Ankeny, and even SC East as a darkhorse could grab it. Waukee and Valley will finish next. I originally put Sioux Falls Washington in the 5RU spot, but after seeing them at Omaha, they will NOT make finals. So I'm thinking Des Moines Lincoln or Johnston Prep will make it in the 5RU spot. I give the nod to Johnston Prep.
