Predictions for Tier 1:
GC: Los Alamitos (Sweep)
I say they sweep because everything I have seen out of this group this year is amazing. Like last year they are very clean and I love their vocals. It will be a close competition but I think Los Alamitos got this one.
1RU: John Burroughs
I know that earlier this season (I think it was Hart) that Powerhouse won. The show this year is great and has a lot going on (not to mention some amazing soloists) so I do have them here but I think as I said before the top three will be very close.
2RU: Burbank
In Sync’s show this year is my favorite of the three. I love the story and the songs. I think they also perform their hearts out as they always do but I think that the other two above them are stronger when it comes to vocals and choreography but again it will be close and it’s Burbank’s first time against these two groups this season.
3RU: Brea
I put them here purely on previous placements. I have not seen the show this year and I am sure they are amazing but I unfortunately have not seen anything on this group.

Does anyone know how to get tickets for this event in advance? Event site is not updated, and I'd hate to make the drive from LA to find it is sold out. Thanks!

Tier 1 Predictions:
GC: Los Alamitos “Sound FX”(BC)

2RU: Burbank “In Sync”
3RU: Brea Olinda “Masquerade”
BV/Musicianship could honestly go anywhere in the top 3.

Man, when I was in high school, I would have loved to go to a school located at "1 Pirates Cove Way". Haha that's awesome.

With that Tier I line-up, this is the contest of the year. Hoping for a four-way tie.

Burbank, Los Al, and John Burroughs' shows are all amazing this year. They have always been so close to each other with their shows, but this year they are so evenly matched its insane! Again, I wouldn't want to be the judge to have to choose a first, second, and third for these groups.

I'd have to say my personal favorite out of the three is John Burroughs but I know whichever group wins is going to be deserving!

I had JBHS winning Burbank Blast. But I wasn’t a Judge!

Is the judge here, Victoria Burns, the same as the choreographer Tori Burns?

I'd imagine so. I usually see her name listed as Tori, instead of Victoria, so I've fixed it above. Probably an oversight when the event page was put together, but all good thanks for pointing it out as our internal personnel system is a bit tricky sometimes.

Haha thanks, Nic, you are too kind. I have my fair share of mistakes as SCC is hard sometimes, but I try to keep them few and far between.

I think its gonna be close between 2nd and 3rd. Looking closely at it, John B and Los AL have been back and forth this season. First Los AL beats John B, then John B comes back and beats Los Al. If it isn't close between these two choirs I will be surprised. I put Burbank in 1st because of their record compared to John B, Los AL, and Brea. Not sure what awards are offered here but... Burbank I think will win Best Band and Best Choreography, and I think John B will win Best Vocals. Again, not sure what awards are offered but I was basing it off of awards offered in the Midwest. Good luck to all!

Interesting predictions. Los Al hasn’t lost BC in awhile now and their choreo is again lit this year..

It looks like Katella's mixed group has switched to Tier V on Thursday, so this has eased the Friday schedule back... slightly. Changes for both days are reflected above.

Full schedule has been added. No, you're not reading that wrong... the last two choirs of the evening aren't even scheduled to perform until after midnight! Also, this is a Thursday/Friday event instead of a Friday/Saturday event which is somewhat unusual. That said, this competition has managed to pull in an impressive roster of choirs which should make for a fun evening.
