I never thought about this, but I suppose it's worth asking - did MW have an a Capella in their set to begin with, or did they have to learn a new one?
(Same question can apply to PHill and Oliver Ames for this week if anyone knows.)
For advance mixed:
Best Male Solo: Sevy von Sonn, Burbank In Sync
Best Female Solo: Erika Osuna, Chula Vista Main Attraction

and

Anyone know about the caption awards? I actually couldn't stay around, because I had to get up early to perform with my Concert Choir at the Crystal Cathedral today.

From Burbank, to Ohio and back again, Serrano Vocal Points have hands down the best show and best choreography I've seen the entire year. The entire straight-jacket portion is, in a word, ingenious, and demonstrates just how effective choreography can be without all that annoying extraneous arm-waving. I can't wait to see what you bring us next year.
A huge shout out to Edgewood Music Warehouse from the great state of Louisiana Indiana. THIS is the way to do classic show choir and keep it contemporary and flat-out entertaining. You've done your legacy proud.
Congratulations, as well, to all the terrific choirs from Los Alamitos and Burbank on your well-deserved wins.
CALIFORNIA SHOW CHOIR: IT DOESN'T GET BETTER THAN THIS!
Even though we didn't place I had fun at the competition. Serrano did great! Also, Burbank's show got way doper from when I saw it at Diamond Bar Spectacular. Congratulations to all the groups! By the way Music Warehouse was pretty bomb! =) Haha they did one of the Van Halen songs we did! D: Even though they were much better at it than us. Also, a thanks to my hosts Krista and Heather, they were awesome hosts! ;)
By the way you guys need to take Rowland High School Infusion out from the list because they were not in the competition.
