i just wanna set things straight for everyone since there seems to be quite a bit of confusion... so pay close attention everyone involved in this debate...

firstly, cabell midland ppl know that nitro had nothing to do with the shouting... i was on stage, im 100% positive it happened and im 100% positive i know who did it cuz i heard it from the stage... it was no one affiliated with nitro and we appreciate all ur kind comments, but please realize that we are not pointing the finger at you... we all know who did it, and as i said before, i think karma is gunna take care of it next week and if not then the week after that....

secondly, i dont think anyone from midland said we got cheated.... we were very disappointed in the results, and personally, i know how that performance will fare better at states with real show choir judges, but the posts about us getting cheated were not made by cmhs members.... i think manchester deserved to win, and although i disagree with other placements, im not gunna complain about it, cuz itll gt me nowhere... im just gunna forget about this competition altogether....

All Im saying is Nitro won at Capital, just like we beat them at Poca... but fortunately, the judges at Poca were actually on the circuit and no what theyre talking about, and hopefully the placement at states will reflect their opinion of who's better.

all i have 2 say is caaaalm down...take it easy...and nobody from poca has "get on here from poca and make predictions like they are going to win" and nobody from poca has "been cheated"...and i dont think anybody from cabell midland said that either..and if they did, then they shouldn't have...the only people from poca to predict anything are myself and brett and we have both graduated...what we say is our personal opinions and has nothing 2 do with visual volume...and i too "go to college and study music", so we have a good idea of what we say too...besides, nobody that is currently in poca's choir even posts anything on here, so if ur going to attack somebody, attack bryan or brett and not poca, cuz they havent done anything or complain about anything and they understand that they lost saturday fair and square, and they arent complaining..all they are doing is looking forward to this coming weekend at cabell midland...they have moved and so should you...we suck it up and get over it and move on..heck, last year we won grand champs and then the next week finished like next to last out of like 18 schools and we didnt complain..it happens, u move on...and honestly, i think nitro has VASTLY improved from last year...u guys are DEFINITELY competitors and yes u should be proud of it, but take it easy..dont let little comments from people get u all flustered and stuff..the only thing that matters is wat u do for that 25 minutes u have on stage, and wat u guys do on stage this year is FANTASTIC...much, much MUCH improved from past years...i honestly wouldnt be surprised 2 see u win this year..u have a lot of talent and it is working out well for u guys, but dont let silly little stuff like comments on a web site ruin what u guys having going for u...ur becoming a great group and nothing will take that away from u guys..trust me..u dont want people remembering u from all the nasty comments rather than the great shows u do onstage....rather, the "sick" shows u do onstage lol...so take care of business guys and u will do great..i just felt this needed to be said...oh and once again...NOBODY from poca posts on here except for GRADUATES so dont bark at poca, bark at me or brett..thanks and plleeeeaaaassee take care

michael.. okay first of all. stephen left that comment because we are all getting tired of the comments from cabell midland and poca. we beat them, fair and square. the comments like oh it wasn't fair, hmm. i think it was. we aren't a better choir then cabell midland, but obviously the judges thought so. we didnt get placed well at all at poca and nobody got on here and as like AHH THE JUDGES WERE UNFAIR, and yelling go nitro and all that stupid BS. it's over. this drama on this website has like gone too far. stephen is from our group but hes not 'in' the group, he is an alumnist and he goes to college and studies music, he knows what he is talking about. i just think its stupid for people to get on here from poca and make predictions like they are going to win, when you don't know who you are competing against. nitro has come a long way this year and we don't have the good name that some other schools have, that just automatically brings the scores up. we have to do our best to even place in the top 6 at any competiton. nothing against you, but this whole capital competition post has been changed to, omg cabell midland and poca got cheated. um not they didn't, they got out scored=)

I have to say that Cabell Midland has come a long way in the past few years. This is the best show that I have seen from them yet. However, I think the results of the competition were very accurate. Cabell Midland is extremely clean but vocally it still has a way to go. Just because your loud doesn't mean your singing with proper vocal technique. Anyone with that many girls is going to be heard. I think the biggest problem is that you don't support your tone. I still feel that your show has come a long way since Beavercreek. Keep up the good work.

Poca, this just wasn't your day. I saw your show and I have to say that it wasn't your best. Your show lacked energy and vocally it was a little flat. I think you might have had trouble hearing your band. Even the soloist on the ballad has some minor pitch problems. In the past, this hasn't been a problem so I think it was a one time thing.

Congrads to Ravenswood. I didn't see your show but I was told that you had a nice choral sound and that you have improved a lot. You guys have been known to make drastic improvements in short periods of time.

I was impressed with St. C. I thought you had one of your better shows on saturday. Maybe even your best this year. Keep improving.

As far as Nitro goes... We have come a long way in one year. We had some minor problems on saturday that have never happened before. Our show still has a way to go but overall we had one of our better performances at Capital. Much improved since Poca. Keep up the good work guys.

By the way, did anyone at the comp. hear people screaming "Go Nitro" in the middle of Cabell Midland's show. That was really rude and if anyone knows who was doing it, please say who. If fit was you, fess up. That really isn't cool.
