great competition.....if you're in the area, I suggest you go............and if you're there at the right time, you're welcome to join some of the guys from our choir for some touch football (if we play tackle, someone might get hurt before finals) anyway, had a great time last year, and I'm sure I'll have a good time again
This is a great competition to attend, I have been there with "Soundsation" (before I was actually in it), and all I can say is it's avery FUN competition. Im gonna be going down there this year.
St. Clairsville High School's St. C Singers will again be hosting their Invitational in March. The Ohio University Eastern Branch in St. Clairsville, Ohio is home to one of Ohio's most laid back Show Choir Competition. The competition is held in Ohio University's athletic center...no longer Belmont Tech College. OUE is located just seconds off of I-70. DATE: March 18, 2006
Prelims are divided into 3 classes and each class will receive the following awards:
Best Male Soloist
Best Female Soloist
Best Show Concept
Best Combo
Best Costumes
Best Vocals
Best Choreo
Grand Champion
1st Runners Up
2nd Runners Up
Then (as usual) the top 6 scoring groups (regardless of class) will re-compete in the Evening Finals.
With DJ's from nightclubs in Columbus, Ohio and hosts with intention of making this event the highlight of your competition season, you are guaranteed a great day!
Past Grand Champs include Southwestern High School "Esprit", Teays Valley High School "Prominent Rendition", Fairfield High School "Choraliers" & Twinsburg High School "Great Expectations".
