Just thinking that it will be a great day when none of the judges have close ties to any one choir in the competition- or any of the choreographers for any one choir. I know this might be difficult in other regions- but here it could be done- just don't hire show choir judges who work for SCA to start. There are at least a hundred others- and all you have to do is take one name and google it with another to see if anyone is closely connected. You could take Chad Alexander, Damon Brown, Shawn Eck or Ann Chapman and add any of the adjudicators named to see a connection.

with names... ... also are there divisions?
damn you rian! no divisions- because there are only 2 girls groups left in the region- so they had to put them together. also the group that runs the competition isn't show choir- so they don't really watch other show choir competitions to get guidance on how to do this. names will be coming soon- there is a festival this weekend and i'll fill in the blanks after that.

There is also a brand new invitational happening later in April. The date isn't set quite yet, but probably around April 22nd. It is non-competive so that Albuquerque can once again become a positive show choir environment not driven solely on local, one-a-year competition.

Show Choir competitions are the most positive thing in the Universe!
