Congratulations to Bloomington Kennedy "Men In Motion" on your first competition!!! It was a super duper fun show, and the student-produced choreography was very, very well-done.
So many groups are up for the fifth runner up in my opinion, but I feel like Jefferson Connection can be extremely underestimated. It's really anyone's game though!
Holy moly this lineup is great. There's a lot of groups coming that are at the same level or at similar levels at this point in the season in my opinion
I can see this going a lot of different ways. Bloomington Kennedy and Urbandale could possibly switch and I could also see Urbandale sneaking out in front of Mitchell. Those last two spots I could see a lot of possibilities too. It'll be between Craig, Bemidji, Lincoln Southwest, and Fort Atkinson. I think Fort's time spot could hurt them and Southwest performs earlier too, plus they haven't had too strong of showings lately but then again the fields were deep.
The classes for the groups should be right.
Cool, thanks, it looks like the only change was Kewaskum and Kennedy men swapped places and classes. Kewaskum is now competing against the prep groups while the Kennedy men have been elevated to the top tier.
Everyone here is excited to be host and are looking forward to a great day.
If anyone want to come say hi to me, I will be the guy in the pink shirt in front of the bleachers with the computer.
I am looking forward to a very tight and competitive day and seeing some amazing groups
Depending on whether or not Totino has a time limit, Mitchell could potentially receive a time penalty in daytimes. They have a HUGE set and it takes all of their dads a very long time to set up and tear down because it's so big. I hope this doesn't happen but it could potentially take them out of finals since points between all these groups will be extremely tight.
I wouldn't worry too much about it. This isn't the first time they've had a big set and it's also not the first time they've attended Totino-Grace. They have frequented this competition and have had relatively large/intricate sets and they've placed fine in the past. Mitchell folks are well seasoned veterans at this point.
