From a source,

I was wrong in an earlier post about the finalists, it was Blair and not Lincoln Northeast. Sorry for the confusion!

Blair was originally announced as finishing third in their division and not making finals. Upon further review, they were actually found to have finished first in their division, qualifying them for finals.

First scoring error if the season. Probably won't be the last.

I didn't get to go, but from what I have heard via the internet and some friends in the choir, finalists are Millard North, Elkhorn South, GINW, Elkhorn, Ralston, York and Lincoln Northeast. And I heard that Exel got best female solo, costumes, and choreography, Elkhorn south got best vocals and band, and 14 Karat Gold got best male solo

I do not know for sure, but that is what I have been told. Can anyone confirm?

Good luck to Grand Island Northwest! GISH is cheering you on and I hope you guys do great! I saw you guys at your premire preformance, and I am excited to see how well you do this year.

And to everyone else, I am very excited to start a new season and see how you all grow. Good luck at this starting competition and I hope to see some of you somewhere, soon!

My understanding is the winner of each division moves onto finals, is that correct?

In the past, it's been the winner of each mixed division gets a place in finals and then the next highest scores overall receive the other finals spots.

Does anybody know if women's groups can make finals at Gretna? If so, I believe Millard North Illumination has a good shot (especially with seven finalists)
