Holl@ for Knightscene!.......haha!..........man.....we are just sooooooo excited that we got a superior.....none the less getting best show design and 2nd place.......you have no idea how much it means for me for us to start off my senior year like that!.....it's hard to explain!........and yeah it was nice to meet you!.....lol/!.....even though it was like for 10 seconds.....lol/!.....Hazara comes up to me in the hallway and was like......."Are you Blake?....." and i was like " Yeah".....lol/!.......it was an awesome day!......we loved it!......and yeah we need to hang out @ Hanover and Kecoughtan....lol/!......it's like Stanny and Carlos wanted to go to all the same comps w/ eachother this year.....lol/!.......but i had an awesome time today and i'm still AMAZED of how well we did!.......and a shout out to RyN for gettin best male soloist!.....good job man.....


man i'm still excited!

Overall Bird took home 4 out of 10 overall trophies (if you put together the mixed and single sex divisions) At Manchester!

yay, just got back from the first day!!!

it was super fun... we all had a blast, hope the same goes for tomorrow.
everything went well except i think the judges are on crack (mbk, you got ROBBED!)

lol/!.........sweetness......yeah we did well agian at our show tonight......hopefully we've gotten some momentum going into the comp and we'll come out w/ some trophies......lol/!........who knows.......maybe it's wishful thinking.......but it's possible.......lol/!........we're excited but really nervous.....lol/!.......but i think we'll do ok............................hopefully! lol/!

it's reassuring to know that at least one person in the audience won't be cracking up... but yeah, i REALLY hope we'll be ready by tomorrow, b/c we added a whole bunch of props and we have so little time to get them... and they're really big and cumbersome and get in the way (especially when i'm trying to get on top of 2 guys' shoulders)! aaaaaaaaaaaah stress stress stress!!!

we spent a really long time making you guys posters today afterschool, the choral room smells like a kindergarden classroom b/c of the paint. thomas dale's poster looks really good, and meadowbrook's is good (except hazara mispelled showin' off )

tomorrow the competition starts!!! YEAH!!!

we had MAJOR rehearsal today to get ready for saturday... 12 hours is definitely WAY TOO MUCH TIME to spend at school. beh. but, we practiced w/our wings/masks/boas/beads so hopefully we'll be ready. i'm kinda scared for my final lift, so if i fall at the end don't laugh guys (PLEASE)!

i'm sorry i dunno when the solo comp happens ryan -- why don't you ask your director to send carlos an email? he'll most definitely answer, he wants this to be PEEEEEEERFECT!!! and don't stress, you'll be fine.

my head feels like it's going to blow up, so i am now on my way to a HOT shower after hours and hours of rehearsal... " border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />

so yeah........we did fairly well on Tuesday night(our first performance infront of an audience.....lol/!)......we have another one on Thursday so we're gonna have two performances before Saturday.......i hope we do good " border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

So who else is in the solo competition at Mid-Atlantic. AND What time do I freakin' Sing. If I go after Thomas Dale im gonna be pissed cause my song is yalls freakin ballad lol. I tore it up today, but i have problems when it come to microphones, they make me really nervous for some reason. Im fine standing at one, but when i have to hold it, yea... BLAH. In my solo in the show i get to run around stage with it being off pitch and not hitting my high notes... but hopefully thatll work out... I need to get my voice back... but yea, ANYONE else in the solo competition???
