The Class Act, Classy Ladies, Logan Show Choir Parent Organization, and Logan High School are hosting the 28th Annual Logan "Showcase 2014" being held on Friday, February 7th and Saturday, February 8th, 2014.
We host a 2-day event that includes middle school show choir performances, high school show choir competition, and a Solo/Duet/Ensemble Competition. At Logan we turn our Gymnasium into a state of the art performance space with professional staging, lighting, and sound. We have a large prop/set storage room located off-stage and a very spacious warm-up room. We have a professional videographer and photographer capture both days of the competition so you can take the memories home with you.
The middle school show choirs perform in exhibition on Friday night with a live critique following their performances. On Saturday, the high school show choirs compete in a preliminary round consisting of Single-Gender, Prep/JV, and Open divisions. The preliminary performances are also followed by a live critique. The top 6 scoring show choirs (regardless of division) from the day round then perform again in the Finals and are re-scored with final placements announced after the performances. Our 2 host groups, "The Class Act" and "Classy Ladies" will both be performing in exhibition throughout the weekend as well.
