Well last week at Warren Wheatonville Lacrosse GCS won best band and EEE was at that comp. Now don't get me wrong I'm not saying EEE's band is not good cause they are very good, but to say "as always" is not quite correct.

well i'm just saying they are known for their combo....

So in another form...

Buffalo Grove Expressions- 1, 1, 1, 5, 5
Eisenhower Elite Energy - 1, 1, 2, 2, 5
Pascagoula Impact - 2, 2, 3, 4, 4
Mt. Zion Swingsations - 2, 3, 4, 4, 4
Kennedy Happiness, Inc. - 3, 3, 3, 5, 5
Danville Delegation - 6, 6, 6, 6, 6

kind of a weird scoring for Buffalo Grove.. 1's and 5's. But i think the correct placements occurred. I did some predictions and whatnot during finals and i just had pascagoula and mt. zion switched around. but congrats to everyone on some amazing shows! the competiton was tough and buffalo grove should be very proud of their GC. and just a shout out to some male soloists that were amazing! the opener male soloist from BG, and ballad soloists from Mt. Zion, and Eisenhower i think it was. Awesome job!!

I met some kids from Heelan this weekend too, and they were GREAT!!! It was so nice talking to all of you outside of the Opry before Finals.
Hey Michael, James and A.J., the puppy chow is on the way as soon as we get home!

It was an overall excellent competition, the quality of the performances was so good. I had an even better time than last year. To that hilarious guy from Auburn Varsity Singers that I kept running into (even at Wildhorse) - HI!!!!

I also heard them singing before I left the aud for my class, and it sounded like they were singing the Burroughs arrangement of "Earth Song". Is that the one they're doing?

I'm not sure of the arrangement. I'll get their opener on youtube as soon as I can. I have the DVD of finals @ Heelan. So they're on it.

I heard they were at your school. I was confused as to why.

On their way to Nashville they stopped at our high school and gave a concert with their chorale. After the concert they used our crappy auditorium to rehearse before they went to Chicago.

I have quite a few friends in Heelan. They're our schools biggest rival So we have to hate them. But i secretly love their show choir haha.
