WOW... am I reading that correctly? Well... congrats to all the groups that made finals... but there were already 2 shockers in the first competition. The first being that A*Vegas beat Petal in prelim... and secondly that Petal Innovations and NorthEast Jones beat Homewood. I'm anxious to hear about everyone's show. Please feel us all in.

Prelim results (Someone correct me if i'm leaving a group out)
1. Albertville
2. Petal
3. Homewood
4. Northeast Jones
5. Petal Girls

I'm told that the top 3 are veryyyy close.

Sorry I don't have the full list of results from tonight, but I do have a few things:

Large Middle School Division:

GC: Petal "Showtimers"
1RU: Northeast Jones "Tiger Vibe"
2RU: West Jones "Center Stage"

Best Vocals: Petal
Best Choreography: Petal
Best Show Design: Petal

I'd say that atleast 95% of the time, the schedule was accurate, and we were on time with everything. Awards were scheduled for 9:10, and they happend around 9:15.

CONGRATS TO FRIDAYS PARTICIPANTS, AND GOOD LUCK TO ALL TOMORROW!...
..
..
..
...especially Homewood.

I'm with trey, lotto anyday...

But I asked Thorne and he said he had no clue. But our sets aren't real big this year compared to years past, (just brighter!) so I think we'll make do. Thanks anyway!

better yet what's the meanin of life?????? still can't find out the answer

Would you rather know that... or the lottery numbers. Personally, I'd take the lotto numbers... but maybe that's just me.

To be honest with you, I'm not really sure. My memory of other stage wings and such is very minimal. But, I would imagine that Mr. Thorne can answer that one for you, because, as far as I know, the actual backstage and wing measurements were sent in the directors' packets that we mailed out not too long ago..

I do. Compared to other schools, how much back stage room is there to work with, as far as off stage right and left and behind the risers?

Could you maybe give a comparison to Homewood I guess or does it compare to anywhere else you can think of?

Thanks.

Alrighty kiddos, I've got more answers to the many questions being asked here:

**Jones-on-Stage will perform after the last preliminary group performs, during the time of the tallying of the final AAA scores and determination of who will advance on to the finals.

**Both Action Pitstop and Procat will be at the competition to take pictures and record video footage. No outside cameras or video recorders will be allowed inside the auditorium.

**A live video feed from the auditorium will be shown throughout the entire day in the cafeteria, so you won't have to worry about missing a group just because you're hungry. ;)

**There is a MODERATE CHANCE of rain Saturday, so it isn't a bad idea to bring an umbrella with you if at all possible. There won't be much outside walking, but it may be necessary for some groups to walk outdoors in moving from the auditorium to their homerooms, as well as the cafeteria.

Any more questions?
