Only a conflict if they make finals.

lolol true, If they perform the show that I saw at FC, they should make finals IMO.

It would be too bad if FC couldn't compete because of prom. I know it's important to a lot of people, but I missed all of my proms going to national tournaments in Wilmington DE, Atlanta, and Philadelphia (for mock trial) and had a much, much better time than I would have had at any prom with the experiences of being at an event of such magnitude.

And plus they can have their own prom or something similar to it, if they want.

I think it was 2005, we had a competition that cancelled out Prom... Everyone in the group voted and instead of missing the competition, we got together and hosted our own prom. I don't know if that competitive spirit is still in this group. I hope so, but I mean, who would blame them if they don't attend...

Still will be an amazing competition

It's the same day as Davenport Central's prom, but I know that they had a meeting before the season started and the kids decided they'd rather go to Nationals if they made it. They won't have to worry about that but FC might have done the same thing

I'd assume Franklin Central would be coming to this...
do we know if ATSC or Ankeny accepted or committed to coming?

Several reasons. The central location in the Midwest. Really easy to get to from pretty much anywhere.

Might not have anything to do with FAME choosing Indy, but the creator of Glee is from here. Went to Warren Central HS. Glee has given show choir a HUGE boost in interest, so that may or may not have anything to do with it.

Indy is packed with show choirs. One of the most show choir loaded cities in the US. If not the most loaded.

And the experience Indy has at hosting major events. The convention center is brand new. Made for the Super Bowl we'll be hosting next year. We host the NCAA finals, the Indy 500, we're hosting the super bowl, the list goes on and on.

Holy necro, batman!

We discussed this awhile ago, but I highly doubt it has anything to do with "Glee." It's just a very central location to the midwest that is also not the site of another FAME event.

Why did they pick Indianapolis?

While I agree that Wheaton is definitely capable of winning it all, I don't think that anyone can say for sure. There are three groups capable of taking any caption at Chicago alone, and when you add in the top 3 from all other FAME events, I don't think its that easy to say who will come out on top. This competition will definitely be close, and after Chicago there will be two groups ready to upset the group that beat them by what I'm guessing will be a small margin.

LOL you're funny man...

Does anyone think it might be fun for all of us "Of age" alumnists to meet up after, at one of Indy's many incredibly fun party spots?
