Their set is different than the one Guavamangoman posted; they often do some different selections earlier in the year where some of the competitions have a different focus. They actually just added a new song last week and performed it at their "Pop Show," but I don't recall the title of the song. Hopefully a Burroughs member can help us out.
at this point we know there is a solo competition on friday night and saturday night.... Our director was talking about having it for each division but she wasnt sure.. i'll let you know when I find out
If you talk to your directors now (for the groups that want to see the night groups) have them buy tickets for the night division and that way you will have seats... there is only 100 some tickets for the night division so that would probably be the easiest way to do it. Plus having it split up means that there is a better opportunity to take home a bigger trophy.. don't be discouraged!!
the reason that advanced women's and advanced men's division is split up is because we have WAY to many groups competing for the size of our theater. We didn't want to do it, but we were literally forced to. Please don't be upset everyone. We want this to be a fun competition for everyone and we don't mean to hurt any feelings or upset anyone. And our director has been looking for a bigger venue but everything in the immediate area around Los Al is booked. I'm sorry it's like this. But I really hope you can all still just have a good time...that's what is important. If you guys have any more questions, please feel free to ask.
