GC: Carmel
1st ru: LC/GC
2nd ru: GC/LC
3rd ru: Solon
4th ru: Bishop Luers
5th ru: Twinsburg

Carmel is a powerhouse group, but after witnessing Carroll's showcase I've started to believe in the upset. I would not be suprised if LC or GC were to sneek up and take this one

Throw marysville in there somewhere too

I'll be there this weekend to see some amazing groups.
Marysville, Solon, Twinsburg,
Represent Ohio well. Tear it up.

Don't worry we will ;) I'm excited for this it will definitely be a good competition. I've also heard about twinsburgs new number and it sounds very interesting

I was right, Carmel is back on top! They had a crazy high score at Carroll, and took out Zionsville and FC, which I do believe are the 2 other top vocal forces in Indiana this year.

Last year they didn't do very well, and got a bit of a late start on their choreography, but I've been told that they look better than they did in 2008, and IF that is true, the people at teays valley should be expecting to see a clinton/burroughs/burbank level show from this group, because their showing at state in 2008 (which is what my informer compared them to) was probably technically the best show I have ever seen. Vocally they are just such so well trained, and their choreography and stage movement in 2008 would have easily taken on any other choir in the country.

I LOVE Ron Morgan's choreography. It's so perfectly, deliciously, broadway. Makes sense considering he was in the original cast of "Starlight Express" lol. I guess he also choreographed the Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders for 7 season, and is the director of Beef and Boards dinner theater here in Indy, which is incredibly good, but Carmel always has the best of everything. Even their Marching band director is an internationally renowned Drum Corps director and composer.

I'm looking up how far away Teays Valley High is from Indianapolis lol

I think every time I see Twinsburg it is better than the last. They always bring the intensity. I believe they'll be in the top three when finals roll around.

These views do not reflect the views of Piqua High School "The Company".

3rd runner up- Twinsburg- saw them this weekend at Solon's Music Fest, didn't feel like they've changed much since Piqua...besides that one number(surprises are in store btw). Maybe it wasn't a full out performance because it was a festival.

I'll be very interested to see what people think about their surprise lol. I honestly wasn't expecting it, also I do agree, I don't think they performed as well as they should have at Solon last night.

Twinsburg is not down and out, i saw there show at Medina...and it was fantastic! and I heard they added a new song that sounds amazing, on top of there already sharp Choreography, it will be a Great competition.

Ok I'll cave and do some predictions. I have not seen any of the Indiana groups but solely based on what I have seen and heard about all the groups these are my predictions

GC Carmel- toppled over some really good groups
1st runner up- Lawrence Central- have heard some good things about this group
2nd runner up- Marysville- believe it or not, they are having a fantastic season! They will fight in this competition
3rd runner up- Twinsburg- saw them this weekend at Solon's Music Fest, didn't feel like they've changed much since Piqua...besides that one number(surprises are in store btw). Maybe it wasn't a full out performance because it was a festival.
4th runner up- Center Grove- they're usually really good. But results for them don't reflect that this year but once again I haven't seen their show.
5th runner up- Solon- love them to death but I do think that this competition will be very challenging. Lot of good groups to
Compete against

Could see, just maybe, Marysville over LC or Twinsburg swapping with Marysville. Solon also sings the heck out of their show so I could see them scoring high vocally and moving them up in placings. Semi-blind predictions let's see how this one turns put! Best of luck to all competing choirs!

Predictions:

GC: Carmel (they redeemed themselves at Carroll and now i'm predicting a SWEEP)
1RU: Twinsburg
2RU: Lawrence Central
3RU: Center Grove
4RU: Marysville
5RU: Bishop Luers

Vocals: Carmel
Choreo: Carmel
Combo: Carmel

Lawrence Central could move up and take on twinsburg I think. Center Grove also could have had enough time to pull their show together by now, and could place higher. They were a complete mess at pike though, and with all the costume changes and gimmicks, it was very clear they were desperately trying to make up for a lack of something. Maybe they're really young this year. Who knows.
