Based soley on previous years and my psychic abilities, I would say:

1.) Findlay HS
2.) Fairfield HS
3.) Edgewood HS
4.) Hart HS
5.) Albertville HS
6.) Bonita Vista HS

You're forgetting Morgantown!!!

This is from the Fame topic in general show choir:

FAME NEW YORK:

Farfield, OH
Edgewood, IN
Jackson Academy, MS
Hart, CA
Bonita Vista, CA
Findlay, OH
Albertville, AL
West Jones, MS
Greece Athena, NY
Morgantown, WV
Carroll, IN
Edgewood (girls)
Hart (girls)
Bonita Vista (girls)
West Jones (girls)
Carroll (concert choir)
Greece Athena (concert choir)
Butler County Community College (host group)

Umm, yeah, that changes things a bit. Solely based on past years, they have an incredible shot to win the thing.

It's not a good idea to predict just yet. The competition season hasn't even started--wait and see what some of the underdogs have in store.

I just wanted to say good luck to everyone competing at this competition! I know everyone will do well, and I am looking forward to seeing all the groups and meeting new people! I'm excited to see all these show choir's that I haven't been exposed to yet. It's always nice to venture out, and that's what I love about show choir....it NEVER ends! LoL! Just when you think you've seen it all, ya haven't. LoL!

Maybe it's the same as Grosse Pointe's version :wishes: Maybe I could be right. I loved that version and I like this version. I LOVE 42ND STREET . Sorry

I expect that their closer will be fantastic. I'm just assuming it is about the same choreo, band, arrangement as CR Jefferson's version from 1999 and 2005. In 1999 they were amazing, and if they hadn't closed with You Can't Stop the Beat in 2005 they would've done so much better everywhere. ANYWAYS, my point is, what a fantastic tap closer! Classic Andy, classic awesome!

I'm afraid I must disagree.

Findlay's vocals are some of the best in Ohio, beautiful blend, diction, tone quality, everything. I agree with the dancing and such, but Findlay's a group that doesn't focus ALL their attention on their dancing, their more of a vocal group than anything, however, their opener choreography last year ("Sing Sing Sing"), that was the BEST swing number I've ever seen a choir do.

I'm not saying that you're wrong. Everyone here is entitled to their own opinion, however I find Findlay always manages to pull off a very classy show, and I love them!

thats exactly right findlay is amazing this year
at ada invite they tied with piqua in finals and they lost by like 2 points due to their band i think they are so amazing I can't wait to see how they do at nationals this year

Clover Hill, all the way...just kidding, though they are good, I do not see them winning the competition...but consider them a force to be reckoned with...They have competed in the national level (Nationals, Fame and such) since 2004, as far as I remember, and each year they learn more from it...
