I also nominate Powerhouse's entire set.
And In Sync's opener.
And Sound Unlimited's a cappella (they were so good!)

And for the record... If I recall, Taylor Barlow, didn't we agree that your name was T-Bag? I'm pretty sure you still don't have the rights to be called Taylor...

Thanks for the nominations guys!

I nominate:

Fix You- Chula Vista (our whole choir always sings it!)
Disco Medley- Burbank (loved the choreography and energy)
Welcome- Burroughs (Awesome solo from Angelica, great power and emotion from the choir)

I didnt really get to watch other choirs... We ALWAYS went Third haha.

I really enjoyed this year's shows. Congrats to all and good luck to everyone in the future. Thanks for keeping music alive and well!

show choir people are unlike any other!

I will miss performing alongside such talented individuals!

Chris

Just an FYI on the video... it was highlighting SoCal choirs that brought home Grand Championships from across the country.

hey btw.... one location was left out of the end video... LOS AL DEFIINITELY FLEW 14 HOURS TO CHINA... FOR 10 DAYS.. AND WE WERE THE FIRST SHOW CHOIR TO PERFORM IN THE FORBIDDEN CITY CONCERT HALL (unofficially )" border="0" alt="smile2.gif" />... i think we made that pretty clear when we all started chanting china really loudly...

i agree that the entire burroughs set should be in the hall of fame

thank you for all the kind words about earth song . it is such a meaningful song to ALL of sound fx, expecially with dr. carp leaving.. we had kevin butler come work with us and he pointed out the line "a light of song shining strong" and we all realized how true it was in our life.. because "through darkness and pain and strife we'll sing, live, be" and there will be "peace".

We also sang it pretty much everywhere in CHINA including The Great Wall

I nominate the entire set of John Burroughs. The show functions as a whole - each song betters and adds purpose to the others. It would be criminal to seperate out any one song as being the strongest.

I vote for-

John Burroughs 2008 Show...

I like what the Burbank parent said- "You can't pull any one piece out of Powerhouse 2008 without the entire tent falling down." It is completely true.

Hey, Tony, make an exception and put in your own "Resolution" - Loved it, and can't get it outta my head.

Agree on Carlsbad's a capella, too!

Carlsbad's Acapella, so beautifully sung. I was in awe in the front row. I love your guy's entire set :> ya'll should've made finals in my opinion definitely a force to be reckoned with!

Also, Los Alamito's Earth Song was very captivating. I can't get it out of my head. Thank you Dr.Carp for such a beautiful selection. It was a treat to hear it twice in one night!

I have to agree with tscott (lord help me). You can't pull any one piece out of Powerhouse 2008 without the entire tent falling down.

The whole show must go on - to the hall of fame.
