This competitions rule was that the winner of Class B along with the top five scores from Class A (Mixed and Girls combined) would advance to finals. I was told that both Morgantown and Southwestern scored higher than some of the Class A mixed and girls groups, plus the scores were all very close together, so they decided to take seven groups into the finals out of the 11-12 groups who competed.
As you can see from the final placement, Southwestern ESPRIT really stepped it up in the finals and ended up advancing several places to 3rd. Congrats to the Southwestern students for a really top notch finals performance! You deserved that placement!

No, not everyone. But they decided to add a second Class B school because the scores were so close. Morgantown got it, and then Southwestern was added.

Does anyone know anything about a group called Morgantown Images? I think they are from West Virginia maybe. How many are in their group? What are their show selections for this year.
Morgantown IMAGES are from Morgantown, West Virginia. Group size is about 30 members.
I'm a recent alumni of that group.
From what I have read of the rules, it appears there will be 6 finalists - the 1 top B Mixed choir, and 5 of the highest scoring A division groups (mixed AND single gender).
