Wheaton North is unreal this year. I'm making a risky prediction without seeing a few groups yet this year, but can't wait to make the trip to see this competition! I think it will be insanely close, but it will be so good to see Wheaton North's vocals stacked against Waubonsie's vocals. Both groups are insane singers.
GC- Waubonsie sweep
1RU- Wheaton North
2RU- Buffalo Grove
3RU- Glenwood
4RU- Carmel
5RU- Madison Central
I don't know whether this is bold or just plain silly. But I suppose that's what predictions are in a nutshell. It's just interesting that you must have been so underwhelmed by Carmel's debut (a third place finish mind you) that you're putting Madison Central ahead of them, a choir that did not place/make finals at their debut competition.
For some reason I thought Madison Central was from New York and went to Fame last year... WHOOPS haha sorry
Hate to say it but I'm not confident Carmel will be making finals here. If they do-- it would be over Prospect or Madison Central

Alright, so after doing my homework I discovered that John Burlace, former director of Wheaton Warrenville South, is the new director for "The Ambassadors". Additionally, his choreographer is Dwight Jordan. OHMYGAWD - this is crazy! Any Indiana high school show choir-er could tell you that Carmel has always been one of the best. Their style was a little more traditional than most Illinois choirs, but I can bet that both Burlace and Jordan will not disappoint.
