The Sioux Falls theme is...... Really awesome. I'm not gonna ruin it but it involves strobe lights

My thoughts exactly...

According to a newspaper article, Craig's theme is It's all about the Money. A tale of money and fame. Sounds interesting!

ATSC is one of those groups that RARELY gets beaten by "middle-tier" groups (meaning those that don't constantly win GC). I think that is because of the vocal level they bring every year. I will agree that their visual style isn't usually the best in the midwest, but they are always super clean, and early in the year, that means a lot!

I completely agree! I just think that Craig and Sioux Falls have developed stories to go along with their shows rather than the traditional show choir shows that ATSC puts out. Neither one is wrong but I prefer ones that tell stories such as Sioux Falls and Craig. ATSC's ballads tell huge stories but if that's the only part that moves me to tears, I would choose the other two over them. I agree with you though their vocals are really what bring them GC's.

I can see a battle for best vocals between omaha and GCS, but even if atsc got best vocals, my guess is that GCS would still win because their choreography and design of their shows (not to mention there vocals) are always stellar. ATSC sometimes lacks in the choreography department so that is why I believe GCS should win this. Sioux Falls AND Craig will be another great matchup as they have been close in years past when they've competed against each other I saw Sioux Falls and Craig at Totino last year and to me, they were at the same level. I would be interested to see if one, if not both, could take down ATSC this year. I can't wait to hear what happens there. Next week already!

You're right that Omaha is great, but Lacrosse has definitely earned and established its title as a "powerhouse" group as well. Also, both of these groups have fantastic sound. I'm guessing that GCS wins, but what I'm really excited to see is who wins best vocals.

Likely the group that wins Vocals will win GC! Should be a good one!

GC- Omaha
1st Runner-Up- Sioux Falls
2nd Runner-Up- Lacrosse
3rd Runner-Up- Holmen
4th Runner-Up- Craig
5th Runner-Up- Milton

Best Vocals- Omaha
Best Choreography- Omaha
Best Band- Lacrosse Central

My predictions. Seems like I'm the first to put Omaha as grand champion. Growing up in the same neighborhood as them I know they are always a powerhouse, so much respect. Their ballads are always wonderful. I see them taking this one.
